The nonprofit Defenders of Wildlife Fund has started a
unique way to get kids involved in activism. In protest of Governor Palin’s
aerial wolf killing program—which has caused the deaths of 109 wolves just this
hunting season—the Fund is collecting drawings of wolves from kids all over the country,
and will mail them to Governor Palin’s office. Perhaps her
overwhelming maternal instincts will override her passion for senseless wolf slaughter?
