Not
surprisingly, Madeline's post on the impending internet version of What
To Expect When You're Expecting generated a ton of comments. Would it
be an exaggeration to say that every mom has read at least a part of
this book? It's certainly no exaggeration to say that comments about
this post, and this book, varied wildly, from ashers mom - who wrote,
"I hated this book and kept it by my bedside so I could mock it,"
adding it was filled with "useless information" - to korinthia, who
found it "reassuring."
For me, What to Expect was more important for its symbolic value than for the information between its covers.
