• Stretch Marks Are the Scourge of Western Civilization

  Eight months into my first pregnancy, I marveled at the fact that I didn't have any stretch marks. What I didn't know is that they were all lurking under that big belly full of baby, in the spots that I couldn't see and that the spouse was too polite to point out. • Goodbye Mom Jeans. Helllloooo, Latex Leggings.

  We've covered the mom jean and the anti-mom jean at length here at Strollerderby. In fact, we've zipped that topic all the way up and over, if you know what I mean. But what we haven't covered quite as thoroughly is the attire that allows you to proudly show off your cellulite, stretch marks and any post-partum lumps and bumps and jelly jiggles you'd normally just tuck under a nice tunic or conservative high-waisted trouser.   You can almost feel your brain cells pop as you read this. By way of Jezebel, the latest must-have kid styley item is luxury pajamas. I guess more and more folks are forking over big bucks for designer sleepwear. I love this quote: "...parents looking for new ways to spend their money are no longer limiting that pursuit to the time when their children are awake." Now there's a problem I want.
