A California woman expecting septuplets stunned her doctors during
the birth of the boys and girls, born nine weeks prematurely. Teams of
doctors and nurses had already done a practice run so that the seven
babies could be rushed to ventilators and other medical support for
their barely one-pound bodies.
After the seventh kid was pulled
out, the doctors realized there was yet another baby tucked in there.
An eighth! This mom becomes only the second woman in the U.S. to give
birth to eight babies in one pregnancy.
