Some good news from the south: Florida lawmakers have passed a bill
that requires insurance companies to pay for treatment costs for
autistic children – up to $36,000 per year, with a lifetime cap of
$200,000. The bill was approved after another more complex piece of
legislation that will offer inexpensive health insurance ($150 a month)
to uninsured state residents.
