Angelina Jolie, already a mom to three kids under the age of six, says she’s planning on having more.
“I love being with my kids… I’d like to add many more children to my life,” she told reporters, at a press conference for her new film, “The Good Shepherd.” Good shepherd, indeed. Only a woman with unlimited funds and an endless supply of mother’s helpers – from nannies, to cooks, to personal shoppers – could even begin to think of adding another sheep to that flock. Jolie did not elaborate on whether she wants to adopt again, or have more biological children, though she has spoken publicly about the possibility of both in the past. (If she’s got any wits about her, and I think she does, she’d be breeding with Brad Pitt like a mo’ ‘fo. Seven nights a week! Am I right, ladies? Gay dudes? Can I get a what-what!?)
After adopting son Maddox from Cambodia, and daughter Zahara from Ethiopia, Jolie put a very public face on the practice of international adoption, as well as bringing the plight of refugee and third world children into millions of American homes. She and her family travel the globe, distributing toys to the needy, food and medical supplies to the poor, and millions of dollars to organizations like Doctors Without Borders and Global Action for Children.
Seems to me that however the Jolie-Pitts choose to expand, whether through adoption or super-hot-movie-star-sex, any child raised in such a compassionate and generous family, can not help but make the world a better place.
