
Sure, lots and lots of governmental crap is infuriating. I get about
400 call to action emails from various organizations to remind me that
some wackadoodle politician is always trying to cut school funding or
stall slight minimum wage increases or prevent folks who love each
other from getting married. For all those online petitions and
senatorial phone calls I've made, I get a lot of satisfaction in the
irony when some governmental do-good attempt goes wrong. Very wrong.
Like the Just Say No campaign actually inspiring kids to toke up and
the No Child Left Behind B.S. actually disregarding segments of school
populations.
And this one,
yes...this one made me laugh out loud: The give-aways from California's
campaign to get kids to eat healthy and be active actually posing a
threat to kids' health. Ohhhh, if it were not for the realty of what
lead can do to a small person, I might just be crying tears of
righteous indignation and amusement right now.
