Oh man. Not another one of these lists. For one thing, they always
leave out some great places to live. Can't help that, I guess. But I'm
often confused by the results, which more often than not display some
rather odd choices amidst the ones you'd expect.
For instance, in this list,
compiled and rated by the people at Business Week, a number of things
were considered: test scores, cost of living, recreational and cultural
activities, number of schools, and risk of crime. Those criteria all
make sense. But why do 11 of the 50 have to be in Nebraska??
