"It felt like I was being Tasered!"
That's what new mom Tori Spelling had to say about her 17-hour labor, which ended in the cesarean birth of Liam Aaron McDermott, now 3 weeks. "As foolish as this sounds now, I wanted to feel how bad it would hurt. But I think I let the pain go on a little too long before I got the epidural."
Tori tells US Magazine that when her labor stalled and she was told she'd need a c-section, she felt comforted by the fact that her OB-GYN was the same one who delivered another celebrity baby around this time last year, in Namibia. "I asked Dr. Rothbart if he'd do a good job, and he said, 'Well, Angelina didn't complain.' So I was like, 'If Angelina let him do a C-section in Africa, I am OK. I felt comforted by that.'"
I love that she didn't describe labor as "awesome!" or "pretty intense... but so worth it!" like a lot of celebrities do when they don't want to seem like wusses for keepin' it real. But what I want to know is - how does Tori know what being Tasered feels like? Who Tasered Tori?? 'Cuz that had to be fun.
(Just kidding. I love Tori! It's Dean who need to be Tasered.)
