Timing
is everything. The new season of Jon and Kate Plus Eight is about to
start. Kate Gosselin’s new book Eight Little Faces was just released.
How do you insure both will be blockbusters? With a wee bit of good old
fashioned gossip and scandal. Now, I’m not saying that the recent
rumors of trouble in the Gosselin’s paradise was planned, but the
timing of it will surely be financially fortuitous.
Interestingly, with all the covers stories, TV interviews and countless
web pages dedicated to the Gosselin clan, Kate is still under the
delusion she is just a “normal mom” living a normal life. Yeah right.
Kate recently told Larry King - who’s so not in the business of
interviewing ‘normal moms’ - about her marriage, “…we are a couple, we
are a family who didn't set out to live, you know, the celebrity
lifestyle. We are living our lives like a normal family. Cameras come
in and film us. And that, to the world -- to the public, makes us
celebrities. I do not like that word. I am not a celebrity....I am a
mom and a wife.” Yes a mom and wife who happens to have a best selling
book, a popular TV show and who’s mug is on the cover of pert near
every tabloid in the land.
