  • Lost Toy Instructions? Find Them Online

manual instructionsYou know the drill.  Remember that complicated electronic robotic remote toy your kid got last Christmas?  Where's the manual for that thing, anyway?  Oh.  No one's seen it in months.  So...how do you change the batteries on that thing, anyway?  Uh oh.  No one remembers.  But wait!  Z Recommends, a product recommendation blog for parents, has launched a new (to me) collaborative Wiki of user manuals, toy instructions, and building guides for children's toys and games, called Toy Instructions.  I'm thinking this looks pretty promising.  Right now the site seems a little Hasbro-heavy (they do make tons of toys though), but I'm hoping that as time goes on there will be more information added, and meanwhile I can rest a little easier knowing that there's one central site to go to (instead of multiple manufacturer sites) for this kind of information.  Because those manuals are just begging to get lost.
