When
I gave birth to my twins Aaron and Gretchen two years ago, I used to
imagine how comforting it would be for Gretchen to start school flanked
by her twin brother and her cousin Ronan - who, although he's five
months older, will still be in the same grade, at the same school, as
the twins.
But once their personalities emerged, I realized that
Aaron was the one who would need to be looked after by Gretchen and
Ronan. Sweet and sensitive, utterly trusting, he has no idea how the
world works - unlike his bossy and manipulative sister and his tough
cousin. Without a doubt, Gretchen is the alpha twin.
