Intuitively, we know that there are some things that just should not mix: mashed potatoes and butterscotch sauce, say, or wasabi and white chocolate. Likewise, paper and light bulbs. Without ever having to prove to ourselves that the combo might be dangerous, we know you shouldn't mix the two.
But all rules are made for breaking, especially if the result is just cool-as-hell.
For the budding electrician in your house, here's a simple project involving paper and a light source. If your kid is a Mythbusters fan, he or she can certainly manage to make an origami light.
