After a four-year legal battle, toy empire Mattel has finally
vanquished Bratz, the vaguely hooker-ish doll line that had nearly sunk
the company's venerable Barbie brand. US District Judge Stephen Larson
ruled Wednesday that MGA, which makes and sells Bratz, must immediately cease and desist,
siding with a lower court's finding that Bratz inventor Carter Bryant
had developed the pouty, vampy dols while working for Mattel.
