How much would you pay for a toy potato? And no, I don’t mean a fancy schmancy Mr. Potato Head. I mean the real thing - a real Idaho raised spud like the one above. In a recent segment on his late night show, Jimmy Kimmel asked a four-year-old how much she’d pay for what she said was the best toy she ever owned. Her answer? $1000. This was just one of the priceless reactions elicited from a variety of unsuspecting kids asked to participate in a toy ‘testing’ study.
Donning a white lab coat, Jimmy - in a serious vein - presented kids with “toys” such as a plain old potato, containers of “Play Don’t” (packages which are pert near impossible to open), and Superhero Costume sets that feature a white piece of fabric as a cape and a pair of plain white briefs.
