Teacher’s Aide Suspended For Racial Obama Jokes
To quote outgoing President George W. Bush, what is our children learning? Apparently the curriculum is Truly Tasteless Jokes. (Anyone remember those?)
An instructional aide at a McCandless vocational school is serving an unpaid suspension for making what a student described as racist comments directed at President-elect Barack Obama.
During a lunch period last week, the aide at A.W. Beattie Career Center said Obama would be killed, KFC would be emblazoned on the American flag and the national anthem would become “Movin’ on Up,” according to the student’s mother.
Mara Gilligan is the parent of a student at the school who complained. She said that her daughter says that the aid becomes “infuriated when anyone mentions Obama

More sympathy for blacks. That is just what we need. When are people going to learn that it is not the black skin that is the problem?? It’s the racist, uneducated, “stick your hand out” attitude that is a common theme among black people. Here’s an example…Why are you scared of a snake? Because it looks like a snake and acts like a snake? It might bite you? Are you scared of the color of the snake or the fact that you know what snakes do? But, not all snakes bite? Why do you treat them all the same though? It’s because you don’t know and you HAVE to treat it like it bites until you find out different.
I am sick and tired of the black sympathy in this country. In my opinion, if left to the blacks, we would live in a dirty, unlawful, crime and drug infested society.
Brett Singer needs to grow a spine and start writing what he truly believes instead of what is politically correct. That teachers aide should be able to say whatever he or she desires.
Let’s try to keep a black person from saying what they want and see what happens!!
I cant believe this is America not a Freedom of Speech country? Oh wait if the comment was about someone white this would not have been the case. I get so sick of it I didnt use to be such a racesist person.
I’m glad the aide was suspended without pay. I’d like to see that become permanent.
