It's real and it just makes me sick and angry.  I, too, fear for Barak and Michelle's lives leading up to the election and WHEN he is elected.

The ignorance of some people just makes me *so* angry. It's what I've hated most about this election.

But I'm curious about No Longer Undecided: Did you choose your moniker only after seeing this video?

Not all of us Ohioans are like that. Sheesh. This actually seemed more like a Daily-Show-esque spoof than anything else, which is frightening,

It'll all be over in less than three weeks, folks.  Then, the horrendous rallies, commercials, and robocalls will stop.

Thank you for posting this... i look at all the news blogs and hadn't seen this one. This is incredibly frightening, but also inspirational and mobilizing. We need to do something. I'm not sure WHAT, exactly, but this needs sunshine and the light of day on it.

Thanks again for posting. (I do phone banking right now for the election, and I have to say I've never heard anything like this, although one person said she wouldn't vote for BO because she thinks he'd ... come to harm... and "his children and wife are so lovely." It made me cry.)

I am shaking with anger after watching that video. I do think more people need to see that footage just to be aware of the sinister and disgusting racism and ignorance that is still so much a part of our country. The people featured in this video are not just racist, they seem mentally ill and stupid as well. I am honestly afraid of people like that. I guess the good news is that they don't speak for the majority of Americans.

Wow.  That's just scary and disappointing.  We still have so far to come.

Seeing the hateful and racist Republicans come out in droves these last few weeks has been the primary reason for my recent decision. I'm a Libertarian and was undecided until this week. I'm now confidently supporting Barack Obama and the Democratic party.

Ok, are we ready to admit racism is alive and well in both republican and democrat circles?  If we were to vote 'against' racism, we'd not vote at all.  The race card has been played by members of both parties, and we need to get beyond letting candidates hide behind the 'race card'. Candidates - face the issues squarely, tell the truth about what you really believe, and quit telling us what you believe we want to hear.  Finally, doubt people who saw this 'news' clip was the deciding factor in their determining who they will vote for.

As a multiracial American, I've experienced racism from a variety of racial groups (some within my own family). We all know that White people do not hold the monopoly on racism. Everyone is capable of bigotry. I do not, however, think that Senator Obama has been playing the race card. He's half Black and half White. Where I see this as something that could be very unifying for America, I'm sure others do not. I do have to disagree with Rob, though. Racism is alive and well. If we don't acknowledge it, we can't overcome it. I don't think having a healthy, and respectful dialogue about racism is an indication that someone needs to "grow up."

What a joke.  Obama is a Racist.  His books flaunt it in our faces and everyone is too enamored in his fluent speeches and empty promises to see it.  Wake up people.  Obama will raise your taxes, he will push his left wing agenda, he is promoting socialism, he will devastate our economy, he will tax your kids inheritance as never before, he will make you work harder so he can give more to people that wont work, he will decimate our military in a time we need it to be as strong as possible, he will dismantle our missile defense system at a time when our enemies are obtaining the missiles needed to strike us, he will ban guns, he will give illegals drivers licenses, he is going to allow the biggest influx of illegal immigrants this country has ever seen and then encourage them to stay while you pay for their health care.  You are so busy running from the George Bush republicans that you are blindly running into the arms of the biggest mistake in our countries history.  This man is not qualified, is not tested, and not capable of running our fragile country.  If you won't take the time to dig into the issues don't vote.  

Charles I can't agree with you more.  Racism is occurring on both sides.  What frightens me is his pastor of 20 years Jeremiah Wright.  Wrights type of religion is damaging to the fabric of our country.  His sermons are full of hate against America and Whites.  This is a man Obama sat under and has called his mentor.  If Obama did not agree with his sermons he would not have been a long time member.  Please watch this video to see what I am talking about.

When you say Obama is a racist I'm not sure why...? Has he said or done something that I'm not aware of?

Out of the blue we are hearing about Socialism. I’m not sure where this came from but what ever the reason Obama is a huge believer of Capitalism. He understands the importance of it in our economy. Warren Buffet supports Obama and Warren has benefited more than anyone else from Capitalism. Please read Obama’s website for information on his economic plan.

Obama has made it very clear that taxes will be decreased for those under $250,000. And for those over $250,000 he will roll back to what they were in Clinton’s time. I don’t know about you but I was doing better when Clinton was in office. My salary has actually decreased the last 8 years.

In regards to gun control, Obama has said he will not take your gun...see the article from American Hunters and Shooters Association.

Obama is talking to gun owners -- and they're listening

I was in Florida over the weekend campaigning for Obama. I'm impressed with the way the Obama campaign will not cede any vote to McCain. This is the first time any Democratic presidential campaign has so aggressively fought for gun owners. I think it's working - and it's throwing the GOP-controlled NRA for a loop.

I like this headline from the Daytona Beach News-Journal: "Obama, McCain lining up gun groups"

Obama is actually lining up gun voters, which is most important. Wherever I go, I'm finding gun owners are open to Obama. This year, we're not being duped by the NRA's aggressively pro-GOP spin. That loyalty to the Republicans hasn't gotten gun owners much. Our environment is in danger and the economy in crisis. The NRA's leaders don't look beyond their own narrow self-interests.

What someone preaches is not necessarily everything that a listener may believe. For example, Palin's husband belongs to the Alaskan Independence Party which wishes to secede from the American Government. They want to be a separate and independent nation.  http://www.akip.org/  That is far from patriotic and extremely scary if you are to take it at face value. In addition to other questionable associations,  Palin has had a witch doctor save her. A witch doctor that is believed to have help in the murder of women. Please review the video with Palin in it.
