Barack Obama: The Force Is Strong With "That One"

Posted by JeanneSager

John McCain may refer to Barack Obama as "that one," but as far as a group of Star Wars fans are concerned, the force is strong with "that one." We'll vote on the fate of the empire in three weeks, and they're hoping their intergalactic duds will help defeat the dark side.

The group of Obama fans from Santa Cruz, Calif. and New York City have set up a Website, May the Force Be With Him, and they're sending all the profits for their t-shirt sales to the campaign. Priced at $19.95, the shirts have to be purchased in two steps. The first is a $10 donation directly to the Obama campaign, followed by $9.95 to May the Force Be With Him, which they say covers the costs of production and nothing more.

The site doesn't say what sizes of the shirt are available, but we'd imagine they range from Ewok to Wookie.
