I go back and forth on Sarah Silverman. Sometimes she cracks me up and sometimes I don't get her. This time I started out thinking, "huh?" and ended up laughing.
Silverman is part of a web campaign called "The Great Schlep." The idea is simple: all Jewish children should go to Florida, a battleground state in the upcoming Presidential election, and force their grandparents to vote for Obama. (According to the New York Times, Silverman doesn't actually have grandparents who live in Florida, but despite that fact, I'm fairly certain she's Jewish.)
Among the reasons Sarah suggests you use to convince Bubbe and Zaidi to vote for Barack: "His brisket is beyond… it's beyond." And of course, "You don't have to use facts... use threats. Vote for Obama or no visits until next year."
