My guru Dr. Parker never shies away from a controversy. He's explored the alleged link between autism and vaccines, which is always good for a bucketful of outrage. Now he's taken on another topic that has already stirred up vocal opponents from both sides.
Is chiropractic care for kids a blessing or a boondoggle? Dr. P clearly comes down on the side of quackery. Commenters, however, think a little spinal manipulation is the best thing since penicillin. Not that the pro-chiropractic folk would also be pro-antibiotics; I use that phrase merely to illustrate how gung-ho the defense is.
So what do you think? Is some bone cracking a miracle cure or a placebo panacea? Does it matter?
