Dallas police are saying a 27-year-old mother, with her 8 and 6 year-old boys, walked away from the boys’ father while getting gasoline and tossed the kids off a freeway overpass, then jumped off herself. As bleak as this headline is, there is some good news. The boys and mother are said to be in stable condition. Police say the woman was not fleeing for her safety. Witnesses state the boys struggled with their mother as she lifted and threw them off the 22 foot drop. The mother does have a criminal record for assault and criminal trespass. Also CPS has intervened with the mother on two separate occasions. No motive, however, has yet been found for this action.
