Um, am I the only one excited about this? I could SO use one of these, not for soymilk (bleh) but oatmilk! And nutmilks! Yay! Cuz that's the stuff I put in my coffee, and mama NEEDS her caffeine. And dairy and me, well, let's just say we're not on speaking terms these days. So...you need this. *I* need this...
While the initial investment may seem steep, this $99 automatic soymilk maker
from Soyabella should pay for itself after a few months' worth of your
kids' cereal and smoothie routines. Just add beans and water, and in
around 15 minutes, you've got fresh soymilk; or, if raw food is your
thing, whip up fresh nut milk in 30 seconds. But, as they say in
infomercial-land, that's not all: It also converts into a food mill to
grind coffee, nuts, grains, herbs and spices; and it inexplicably
doubles (triples?) as a soup and oatmeal maker. Best of all, it looks
great even if it goes ignored on your counter after the excitement
wears off.
(Um, and Aaron Burgess of Droolicious? I think I'm in love...)
Also on Droolicious today!
