I'm not sure how it happened, but apparently, the holidays are just around the corner. And to think, there are still shorts in our laundry baskets and flip-flops strewn about the living room (note to self: must remember to take care of those before hauling in a Christmas tree). Fortunately, my bloggy brothas and sistahs are keeping this mama on task (sort of) or at least allowing me to procrastinate further on laundry by thinking about turkey hand drawings and pies (mmmm, pies...possibly the best motivation to put away flip-flops):
