Lily-Rose Melody Depp, 7, has been hospitalized in the U.K., where she is being treated for an undisclosed "serious illness." Little Lily-Rose has been in the hospital for over a week, with her family - dad, mom Vanessa Paradis and little brother Jack,5 - by her bedside. The family has been living in London while Johnny films Tim Burton's movie version of Sweeney Todd (Burton + Depp + the Demon Barber of Fleet Street? Sign me up!).
For the sake of privacy, the details of the little girl's condition are being kept quiet (though some reports claim Lily-Rose may be suffering from blood poisoning, after stepping on a nail). The family issued a statement through Johnny's rep today: "We are happy to report that [our] daughter is doing much better... the family greatly
appreciates the continued support and respect of [our] privacy."
