Cringe with Political Nanny and have a look at Hillary Clinton on the Tyra Banks Show. The candidate-once-scorned is explaining to Tyra how she felt when her husband cheated on her, the details of which became public 10 years ago this month. Happy anniversary! (Relive the historical highlights here.)
Clinton says: "I really had to dig down deep and think hard about what was right for me. ... You are mad, you are really upset, you are disappointed... all of that goes through your mind ... I have found you really shouldn't make decisions in the heat of those moments."
Also, she said she never doubted Bill's love for her and that her faith helped her through the tough times. She doesn't really dish, but what did you expect? Tears? Again! Too soon.
Tyra also presses the former first layyyydeee about body image and whether she's ever dissatisfied with her looks. (Answer: yes.) And, as promised, Clinton's reality show dreams. (Fantasy would be America's Next Top Model, reality would be Dancing with the Stars.)
Remind Political Nanny ... how did Tyra land this interview ? Meanwhile, a Clinton aide is checking off "Make More Human" from the to-do list.
Tyra earned her chops interviewing candidates after Barack Obama appeared on her show last year. There, he clarified, among other important issues, who should play him in a movie (Denzel Washington, or, considering his ears, Will Smith); and also, what's on his iPod (JayZ, Miles Davis, Bach ... "I've got a little salsa too," he adds. We bet you do, Barack, we bet you do.)
