I was in love with the movie fireproof! My husband and I who are young evolving christians are watching society take a turn for the worst. Witnessing bad relationships and me watching my inlaws get a divorce and my very own marriage builds every day by the faith we have in christ. Ya! I would say that movie had a strong impact on my heart and if people could see it that way...there would be less divorce because marriage is something you work at together and with christ jesus.

I think it is awesome that Kirk's loves his wife so much that he doesn't want to kiss another woman. If more husband's and wife's felt that way, maybe we would have less divorce. I saw Fireproof and thought it was great. I wish everyone that thought they wanted a divorce would have to do the Love Dare first....Just my thought..... Christ's love to all....

I think Kirk Cameron is being used by God's amazing grace. He loves his wife dearly and is giving her the highest of restpect she deserves. Men might learn something from him by watching this flim he is acting in. I wish him the best in whatever he loves doing for the Lord.

MoralityCheck is Sooo Right!! It's people like you who think things like "kissing someone else" or "looking at another girl when you have a wife" being ok that makes this world suck. More than half of this nations relationships are falling apart (1 in every 2 couples are bound to divorce) because we think it's ok to do these things. I uphold Kirk Cameron's belief in marriage and agree with everything he says.

He might be a nutcase to you, but atleast he's happy and making a rare thing called "marriage" work....

You guys are idiots who are spreading such hate comments about Kirk. He's one of the very few people in this world, coming out of hollywood, who has made a marriage not only work, but keeping it successfully filled with happiness. And I believe a big reason why it has happened for him is his faith he placed in Christ. You can go on and on about your reasons of why he's a "nutbag for believing such and such" but at the end of the day, he still has won a very rare battle and continues to live a fullfilling life.

Gee, lets take something admirable, like what Kirk did, and twist it around.

I watched Fireproof and it was a great movie. The acting could have been better (especially at the beginning), but it was great nonetheless.

So, I'm guessing that the same people who thinks he is a nut job are the same people who would rather watch Bret Micheals does chicks, FlavaFlav, and New York Slut.

You kind of people are the reason that this world is the way it is. You people have no substance.

Christians have NEVER claimed perfection - Kirk is no exception to this rule. He is on the right track with God (and let me tell you, your opinion of him doesn't matter, my opinion of him doesn't matter, it's God's opinion that matters)

Athiests are delusional....but I guess you'll have to wait until the end before I can say I told you so.

I agree with Renee. It seems that anyone that vocalizes and is committed to their faith in God and Jesus is declared a "nut bag" or a member of the "God Squad." I suppose the only acceptable diversity in the eyes of the so called progressives involves atheists and agnostics.

I saw Fireproof and loved it. Very positive with strong and relevant messages. I like the fact that a movie has the balls (oooh, did you know that "God Squaders" use inappropriate language from time to time) to stress the importance of marriage family and commitment. A helluva better message than "ooh, this is hard, let's screw other people or get a divorce."

I think he is one of the very few who have the guts to stand up for what he believes...I think its awesome! If every man would would follow a tad bit of his devotion for their own wives, this nation would not be as bad off as it is in a lot of ways...Because he believes in God = he's a nut bag? Kirk Cameron is actually one of the biggest nutbags out there. He thinks that bananas are proof of God's existence because of the shape they fit in your hand, even though today's banana is actually an engineered product by humans. Do a Youtube search for it to see how crazy he really is.
