Nicole was at the Tokyo premiere of "The Golden Compass," looking not bad - from far away. Up close, well, she's got something going on. Either pregnancy is distorting her face, along with her lips or she's had something, perhaps chemically done? I'm trying not to be judgy. I will say that this white dress is much better than that black, see-through, ostrich feather fug dress she was seen wearing the other day.

Nicole Kidman was promoting The Golden Compass in Japan last night but all eyes were on her and her dress. Five months pregnant (already?), Nicole was decked out in a sheer black dress and had a few choice things to say about her film and her children:

Kidman had deliberately chosen The Golden Compass script because it's child-friendly.: "My Bella and Connor are 13 and 15. So they have seen the film and they loved it... my child inside won't see the film for a long time."

"But I think once you have children you want to balance the work you do because they give up so much of you to your work. So occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to, they can go to the premiere of, that they celebrate.”

Nicole Kidman's Dad Delivering Her Baby?

Say it with me...uncomfortable! Australian news outlets are reporting that Nicole Kidman's dad is going to deliver her baby with the help of her mom. Apparently they did this for Nic's sister, Antonia.

Kidman's father Antony is not a medical doctor, however he is a mental health specialist. Her mom is a trained nurse. Regardless of what they are, wouldn't that be a tad awkward? Personally, I would not want my dad getting a close up view of my privates. But whatever floats Nicole's boat.

Nicole Kidman Reveals That Her Dad Helped Her Through Her Divorce From Tom Cruise

Actress Nicole Kidman has revealed that her dad, Anthony, was key in her being able to cope with her divorce from Tom Cruise.

Nicole said that her father's presence helped rejuvenate her during the troubled times.

"My father really stood by me at a tough time. He was strong and dignified, and I'm very grateful that I do have a good father, because having him there with me at that time put me in good stead for carrying on with my life and learning to trust again," News.com.au quoted Kidman as telling Britain's The Catholic Herald.

Kidman admits that her divorce from Cruise brought her closer to her father, who is a devout Catholic.

"When I was growing up, I was always much closer to my mother. Dad's a bit of a loner. He was always going off and reading books. But when I went through ... what I went through ... I found out who my father was,” she said.

"Because there comes a time when you're a daughter, that you suddenly need your father. And when you reach out for your father and he's there for you, well, that's a very special thing,” she added.

Nicole was indeed lucky to have a great dad to stand by her. She is now married to country singer, Keith Urban.

The other day I posted a snippet about Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's kids calling Katie Holmes "Mom." Well....

Today on Gossip Girls, they reported that the kids are also calling their mother "Nicole."

Isabella, 15, and Connor, 12, call 29 year old Katie Holmes "Mom." No word on how Nicole Kidman feels about this, but Katie has nothing but nice things to say about hubby Tom Cruise and his kids with The Golden Compass star.

Gushing over Cruise, she calls him a "great father and husband" and is looking forward to a Christmas holiday of skiing in Colorado, and family fun with all three kids.

Last year was Suri's first Christmas. It was so spectacular to share the holidays with her. It really meant the world to me. To be able to create a tradition for your children is one of the best gifts you can have," she added.

About her marriage to Cruise:

"Oh, we have so much fun. Tom has introduced me to so many new experiences. I have done things I never thought I would do, like climbing mountains and flying in the P-51. That's what is so inspiring about being with him - constant thrills and joy," she said.

Nicole Kidman, looks, well, ridiculous in her shiny, blinding suit. The lipstick color doesn't do her any favours either. Stylist anyone?

Kidman attended the premiere of The Golden Compass, in Sydney, Australia at the State Theatre. She was accompanied by her younger sister, Antonia and 8 year old niece, Lucia.

Nicole mentioned how happy she is that she'll be spending her the holidays with her country singer hubby, Keith Urban and family. Hopefully Santa will bring her some new clothes. Merry Christmas!

The Golden Compass star is excited to be reunited with her kids for Christmas: "I'm going to spend Christmas with my family. It's going to be a family occasion."

Kidman has two adopted children, Isabella, 14, and Connor 12, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Cruise and wife, Katie Holmes do not celebrate Christmas, as Scientologists.

I never see those kids with Cruise or Kidman -- where the hell are they normally if they aren't with her? Boarding school? Cages?
