Jodie Sweetin Says She's Totally Sober

For the first time, former "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin is talking about the allegations her estranged husband made against her. Cody Herpin has said that Jodi has picked up the drugs again, and the issue has come up in court because custody of their daughter, Zoie, is at stake.

"There are a lot of things being said about my using that are not going on right now," says Jodie. "I want to make it known that I am absolutely, 100 percent sober."

Jodie, 26, is a recovering alcoholic and meth addict. She admits that she had several glasses of wine over the summer, but "I immediately called other people who are in recovery." She's in a 12-step program. "Any slip for me is not good, but I didn't let it stall my progress. I could have just not said anything and brushed it under the rug. But that doesn't help me make different choices in the future. Zoie comes first for me, as well as my sobriety."

According to husband Cody, however, she's had far more than just the one fall off the wagon. "She has continuously broken her sobriety since Zoie was born," he says. He's filed for sole custody. "I'm worried about Zoie."

Last month, a judge ruled that the couple would share custody of Zoie for now. Jodie's custodial time is happening at her parents' house, where she's living at the moment. Otherwise, one of her parents must be present when trading custody of the baby.

A psychiatrist of the court said that she doesn't think Jodie poses a threat to Zoie, and both Jodie and Cody have to get drug tested before the next hearing February 9.

The divorce is pending. Jodie says the reasons are private, saying "It's been difficult." But Cody says he has no idea why she filed for divorce. "She never even told me," he says. "I had to find out from her attorney. To this day, I still have no idea why."

Former "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin and her husband Cody Herpin are splitting and Jodie's lawyer says the couple "are working hard to avoid a protracted custody battle." They attended their first joint mediation session this week in Orange County, CA.

"They're trying to work things out regarding the sharing of their child," lawyer Wilma Presley says. "As far as reconciliation as a couple goes, in family law, you just never know."

She also says that Jodie, 26, is doing well, had a great holiday, and had her daughter, Zoie, on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Both parents are playing well with the child sharing.

Last month, a judge ruled that custody over Zoie (9 months) is to be shared 50-50. Cody made accusations that Jodie was abusing drugs again - she is a recovering alcoholic and meth addict. And while Jodie admitted to having a couple of glasses of wine, she says she is NOT doing meth again.

The next hearing is set for February 9.

Former Full House star Jodie Sweetin has been accused by her estranged husband Cody Herpin, of being an unfit mother. She's accused of driving - with their 8-month-old daughter Zoie in the vehicle - while intoxicated. A judge has now ruled that the actress is no longer allowed to be with her baby unsupervised.

A doctor who testified in court Tuesday, said Jodie has fallen off the wagon but that she is in touch with her AA sponser and attending meetings. He doesn't believe the baby is in any immediate danger. Both Cody and Jodie will have to submit to drug tests before the next hearing.

Earlier in the day, Sweetin was under emergency investigation by an Orange County, Calif. family court after her husband made allegations about his wife driving drunk with baby Zoie. Herpin's lawyer said, "It's primarily alcohol [abuse] but there's also concern regarding methamphetamines."

The couple legally separated on Nov. 19, seeking joint custoday of Zoie.

Jodie has admitted her previous meth addiction.

New mom Jodie Sweetin is splitting with her husband of 16 months, Cody Herpin. The ex "Full House" star once said that Cody was a "blessing" who turned her life around after years of meth addiction. Wednesday, she filed separation papers in California. The couple are brand new parents to daughter Zoie, born in April.

Cody told People magazine, "I was dumbfounded. Over this past month something has been different. I'm concerned about our daughter and I just want Zoie home." Jodie left the house with Zoie recently.

Stella Alex, Jodie's agent, says that Jodie is "absolutely clean" and that the couple have "come to this path in their life and she felt like this is the way she had to go. Jodie says it's unfortunate but it's just what has to happen right now. No more detail, because she says she doesn't want to be disrespectful to him."

The separation papers show that Jodie wants joint legal and physical custody of Zoie. The reason, of course, is shown as "irreconcilable differences."

Yeah, THAT Jodie Sweetin, from "Full House." I know, it still kinda freaks me out now that little Stephanie Tanner is a MILF. I mean, ALL the Tanner girls are hotties nowadays. Well, except for the Olsen twins. They're just sort of glamorous scarecrows.

Jodie, 26, gave birth to little Zoie in April and appeared on the cover of People Magazine back in July. Now she's doing this guest blogging stint over at OK Magazine, which is cool. I mean, who isn't blogging these days? Jodie, by the way, is working on a movie due out next year, and she's also being courted by networks to do a reality series about her and husband Cody.

In her most recent post, she talks about Zoie having her first cold. "...we’ve been to the doctor once already and we're going back again in just a little while. She’s got the stuffy nose, coughing, sneezing, the whole bit. It’s so hard to be a mom and see your little one not feeling good and know that there’s really not much you can do except wipe their nose and give them extra hugs."

Yeah, welcome to parenthood, Jodie. That shit happens for DECADES. And suddenly you wake up with your daughters in their senior year at college and wonder, "How the hell did THAT happen?" Seems like just yesterday they were both colicing and keeping my ex and I awake for days on end. Try having TWO sick babies at once.

I can't even imagine maintaining what little sanity I have if I were Jon and Kate Plus 8.

The folks at NY Magazine are calling shenanigans on People. Actually, they're calling Photoshop. They are claiming that little Vivienne Marcheline is not yet able to smile (or Knox Leon for that matter) and that the grin we see is actually the result of some fancy tampering.

"In that cover photo, it looks like Vivienne Marcheline — clearly the Ashley half of this Olsen-like combo — is sporting a giant grin. She may even be laughing. Hold on. These babies are purported to be a mere 3 weeks old! Parenting magazine says that babies don't smile from exterior stimulation until two to four months — even if said exterior stimulation is the most beautiful pair of humans in the entire world."

StrollerDerby isn't sure that they agree and asks, "what to you think? Photoshopped? Or is Vivi working out a bit of flatulence? Come on, we parents know even newborns make all kinds of faces, even if Parenting magazine hasn't explicitly told us so."

Personally, I never would have thought such a thing, but it's not like Photoshopping magazine covers is unheard of. I do have trouble believing that Brad and Angelina would agree to the face of their new baby being altered- and it seems like they would have some say in the cover before it was released.

That's just a theory. They may have been busy changing diapers when it went to press.

In the meantime, these photos are clearly unaltered.

Mary-Kate Olsen had allegedly asked for immunity from prosecution prior to her cooperating with a federal investigation regarding the death of Heath Ledger.

According to a law enforcement source as reported by People, she was the last person that authorities wished to interview. It is believed that investigators chose not to subpoena Olsen for questioning.

That was the way things stood until this afternoon when Mary-Kate's attorney issued a statement as follows:

"Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them. Regarding the Government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the Government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed. We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the Government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate."

So what does this mean? I have no idea, but I'm sure we haven't heard the end of it.

Did you see this cover? I about spit out my coffee. Jodie Sweetin, formerly Full House's sweetheart has indeed had a horrible addiction to meth, and yes, she just had a baby, but "From Meth Addict to Mom?"

COME ON, PEOPLE.

Is it just me or do they make it sound like baby Zoie is relative to a crack baby?

Sad. I mean, she overcame her addiction, nearly 3 years ago. Does this sort of thing sell magazines?

Regarding 7 week old Zoie, Sweetin said, "You look at your baby and think, 'Wow, I did that.' It's really amazing. I'm still like, 'Oh, wow, I'm a mom.' It's the most overwhelming, exciting thing I've ever done."

Congratulations Jodie. On both your sobriety and your new family. I hope your candor with People helps someone else. I just wish they hadn't exploited you on the cover.

Summer is almost here! I can’t believe it.Just yesterday it seems like I was huge, pregnant and it was Christmas. Now I have the challenge of losing that baby weight, a struggle for most new moms out there.

And with bikini season approaching fast, I have no time to lose!

So I started myself on an exercise and food regimen to help me lose the 25 or so pounds still hanging around. I’m using NutriSystem as my food program, I’ve been doing it for about two weeks now. I really love it!

Good food, I feel full and I can stick to it without feeling like I’m on a "diet.

Then this week I started with a personal trainer, Joshua Love, wow!

He worked with me once this week and I’m still sore. But it feels really good to start being active again, it’s so easy to fall behind when you’re pregnant.On the days he’s not here, I do nearly an hour of cardio on my own. I can’t wait to keep writing for OK! about my journey back to being in shape. This will be one challenging trip!

Heh. I'm still upset her boobs are bigger than mine.

It's been almost 2 months since actor Heath Ledger passed away - accidentally overdosing on prescription meds. And for the first time, Michelle Williams - his ex fiance and mother of his daughter Matilda - speaks out. Also, another past love of his - Naomi Watts - has only kind things to say about him. Here are excerpts from Interview magazine:

Michelle says:

"For as long as I'd known him, he had bouts with insomnia. He just had too much energy. His mind was turning, turning, turning - always turning. He had an uncontrollable energy. He buzzed. He would jump out of bed.

"I think that the interesting thing about Heath, which maybe people have only really fully discovered in his death, is how vulnerable he was. You can pick up on it in his performances, but it’s easy to overlook because he was so physical and beautiful and strong and masculine. But there was always that underlying sensitivity. That’s who he was."

She remembers the time following Matilda's birth as the best of her life:

"The first six weeks of our daughter's Matilda's life was this incredibly insular, protected time.

"It was just he and I and her, living in our new house in Brooklyn. No nanny, no help - not really even any family. A couple of friends came through, but we were really committed to forming a bond just between the three of us. And then that bubble got broken with work.

"Brokeback Mountain was going to come out and the press stuff just started rearing up. But those six weeks were just blissful."

What Naomi, 39, had to say:

"His acting was just so touching, so connected in truth. I think he was just getting started.

"That's the deepest tragedy in terms of his work - he was just beginning to own it and embrace it."

It's still so sad.

Hugh Hefner, recently in the news for trying to get one of his girlfriends pregnant, now wants the Olsen twins to pose for Playboy to "celebrate their 22nd birthday." Have struck out with the twins when they turned 18, Hugh is trying again but the twins want none of that.

"Hef thinks the twins are every young man's fantasy," an insider tells Star.

Unfortunately, it's not their dream. "They're all about high-end fashion these days," says the insider. "They want to do Vogue." Besides, the twins aren't getting along right now, adds the source. "Ashley is jealous because Mary-Kate is getting all the acting roles."

Maybe he should get back to Holly and stop praying on other people's daughters. It's creepy.

Colin Farrell says that he's honored beyond measure to be taking on one of the three roles that will replace Heath Ledger in "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," but painfully so.

He says he accepted the role as a tribute to Heath. "It's about getting Heath's work out there. He's too good for any of his work not to be seen," Colin told Sydney's Daily Telegraph. "It makes me feel uncomfortable to think about it too much but it's an incredibly painful honor to have, you know, and an honor I wish wasn't bestowed, but an honor nonetheless."

The other actors who are taking over Heath's role are Johnny Depp and Jude Law. (Note: all of the actors playing this role? ALL dads. Go dads!) They will each take over playing Tony, Heath's character, when he steps through a magic mirror into an alternate reality at several different points in the film.

I, for one, am thrilled that we'll get to see a Colin-Johnny-Jude sandwich - of a sort - but, yeah - the cost of it was far too high.

At one point, shooting had been cancelled and all cast and crew sent home. But it looks like some of Hollywood's biggest male stars have stepped up to step into Heath's very big shoes and get the picture completed.

Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell will each take turns becoming multiple incarnations of Heath’s character transformed in the "magical" world of the film, according to AintItCoolNews.com.

The family of Heath Ledger is planning to hold a wake for close family and friends at Cottesloe Beach in Perth on Saturday.

Reportedly Heath's dad, Kim said that the family wanted to honor him at one of his favorite places - the beach where he grew up and learned to surf.

Ledger had even talked about this beach on an appearance on the Jay Leno Show in 2002. A childhood friend, Paul Mullert said to the Australian Times Heath was "the quintessential Australian, who loved nothing more [than] slipping on a pair of boardies and his [flip-flops] and heading to Cottesloe Beach."

We remain humble as parents and a family, among millions of people worldwide who may have suffered the tragic loss of a child. Few can understand the hollow, wrenching, and enduring agony parents silently suffer when a child predeceases them. Today's results put an end to speculation, but our son's beautiful spirit and enduring memory will forever remain in our hearts.

While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage.

Our family enjoyed an extremely happy two week visit with Heath just prior to the New Year. Those recent precious days will stay with us forever. Heath Ledger's death on January 22 was due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs the New York City medical examiner's office reported Wednesday morning.

"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," spokesperson Ellen Borakove said.

"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications," the two-paragraph statement said in its entirety.

Is this creepy, exploitative, spooky, or all of the above? Some crazy-assed church in Nigeria (no, NOT the Church of Scientology; they haven't infiltrated Nigeria because, um, Nigerians have no moneys) is claiming that their 'prophet' prophesied the death of Heath Ledger - now known to be from an accidental overdose - after seeing it in a vision.

According to the Synagogue, Church of all Nations website:

“I (Prophet TB Joshua) was shown in a vision in the morning concerning a personality that would go on a long journey – a journey of no return. So we lift up our voice and pray. If it is the will of God, let the will of God be done. A personality, a famous person, a well known person that would just leave this earth and go on a journey forever. It is a personality that is not old. People still want him. We have to pray that the will of God should be done.”

These were words of prophecy uttered by Prophet T.B. Joshua in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Lagos Nigeria during the Sunday Service on the 13th January 2008.

He later referred to this particular prophecy the following Sunday, 20th January 2008, saying:

“Remember the message I gave last Sunday. I don’t want to repeat it because it is not something to be excited about. It’s in the record. I will not stand here and begin to repeat that message again. Wow. They kind of lost me with the Bible camp campfire song at the end there. This prophecy and its fulfillment - Heath's death - show that God's got the whole world in his hands? I'm enough of an agnostic to simply disregard any and all claims of prophecy, but I'd have to go a step further here and say WTF? If the tragic death of a young father shows anything, it's that God's got a bad case of the dropsies.

Still, it's not quite offensive as the claim made the other day that we, as society, are thinking celebrities to death, and need to turn to The Secret to save them. Close, but not quite.

Heath Ledger's ex, Michelle Williams and his baby girl Matilda, made their final, sad journey to say good bye and are now in Perth. Williams, dressed in all black, was seen holding Matilda, while the toddler carried a stuffed toy rabbit.

Reportedly security was tight as the pair arrived and Michelle did not make any comments concerning the funeral of her ex fiance. They landed around 3pm on a flight from Los Angeles via Melbourne.

The results of Heath Ledger's autopsy and toxicology tests were due to be released today, but sources say that these have been delayed.

Scopical News reports that The New York Medical Examiner's office has said that it was set to provide the results from the tests today, however that this had been delayed by 24-hours. No reason for the delay has been reported, but a representative from the office said that the report would be released tomorrow.

An initial autopsy of the actor found the cause of his death to be inconclusive, with further tests of tissue and toxicology samples conducted in the last two weeks. There's been rampant speculation that the actor died of some sort of drug overdose, accidental or otherwise, but his family and friends have vehemently denied that this is possible.

Whatever the case, we should know tomorrow. For better or worse.

Photos of Heath Ledger's Body May Be For Sale

Following on the heels of the Heath Ledger video controversy is this disturbing piece of news from New York Magazine: Photos of Ledger's body, taken when his body was found, are being shopped around for a six-figure sum. The article cites a quote from columnist Cindy Adams in which she cryptically writes, "Supposedly, his body was snapped," she writes, "and $300,000 is the price on that photo."

It's hard to imagine anyone thinking they could publish such photos without public outcry, but thank goodness there's always Entertainment Tonight and The Insider ready to sink to new lows in unethical behavior. Stay tuned to your TV sets.
