Is Angelina Jolie just too exhausted and/or busy to make the trip to Cannes this year? If so, Quentin Tarantino is gonna be mad!!!

There has been so much speculation about Brad and Angelina's relationship that all the world will be waiting with baited breath to see if she shows up. If she does attend with Brad then every expression and nuance will be examined. If she doesn't attend then all the tongues will be wagging, she can't win for losing.

She may not attend because she is on location in Albany, filming the movie Salt, but that excuse will never fly with us gossipmongers.

Is Katie Breaking Under the Pressure Of Tom?

People have been questioning whether Katie Holmes is Anorexic or if she's pregnant. Strange combination I know, but then again perception is everything.

The National Enquirer says that Katie is buckling under the pressure of his iron thumb. They also claim that Katie is smothered and isolated by Tom.

I'm not sure how that works if she's been in New York by herself for months.

However, an insider is also claiming that Katie is terrified of the fact that if she left him, he'd make it difficult for her to see their daughter Suri. She has seen him in action considering how he kept Connor and Isabella away from Nicole after their divorce.

That sounds like a bad romance novel. It always plays out the the rich and powerful shipping magnate is going to take the child that was born is secret to his home, and the mother will never see the baby again, because what court would side against him.

Did Tom Cruise read too many romance novels as a teen and decide that was what he wanted to be? You know, beside killing Hitler.

Katie Holmes Needs To Tell Tom To Back Off

We all know that Tom Cruise has some control issues and it seems that those along with his limitless energy doesn't bode well for Katie Holmes.

How can that be, they are on separate coasts right now? Well, he is dictating her schedule on a daily basis and she doesn't seem to have a free moment to rest. Even her weekends off from her Broadway production are spoken for. Tom expects her to fly home to Los Angeles to spend some time with him.

Um, tired much? I am tired just thinking about the bi-coastal roundtrip, especially with kids.

Tom needs to lay off and let Katie sleep in every once in a while. It's good for the body and the soul to relax and take it easy once in a while.

Sources say that she is now begging him to give her a break. They also say that, “All the racing around is killing her. Katie just can’t keep this pace up much longer. Something has got to give - and Katie says Tom is going to have to lighten up on her. Of course he wants to see her and Suri, but she can’t keep making these coast-to-coast trips. She has to get some rest. Katie loves being in ‘All My Sons’ on Broadway. It’s been a great success and a terrific experience for her, but Tom doesn’t seem to understand that she needs a break sometimes. She can’t keep going and going like he expects her to.”

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time with people telling me what to do.

Angelina Changes Her Mind

Angelina Jolie says hold your horses everyone. She recently said that she plans to fade away from acting but wanted to make sure that we all know that she's not ready to retire quite yet.

She said, "I'm not making some retirement announcement. I have a big family and a lot of responsibility at home, and I have the good fortune to financially not have to work all the time. I just feel privileged that I get to be home a lot. Maybe eventually I'll stop (acting)."

I would just like half of her fee for one of her movies. I could be frugal enough to make it last for a long, long, long time.

There just aren't very many situations where you can drop Neil Diamond lyrics in casual conversation.
Shiloh Pitt doesn't want to be called Shiloh right now, she would like to be called John or Peter, as in Darling or Pan. She is apparently fixated on the characters in Peter Pan and refuses to answer to anything else.

Brad, in a recent interview, said that, “She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing,” he says. “So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff that’s cute to parents, and it’s probably really obnoxious to other people.”

Kids are so cute with their phases and their demands.

Did Angelina Apologize To Jennifer?

The cover to the new issue of the Enquirer states that Angelina apologized to Jennifer for disrupting the relationship between her and Brad.

It's been four years, do you think Jennifer cares anymore? Hasn't she moved on with her life and her men?

Jennifer has dated half of Hollywood and has yet to find her true love. She's pretty close too John Mayer ( Yuck! ) and is supposedly pregnant after undergoing fertility treatments. Is that the last laugh the Enquirer alludes to?

I guess well have to buy it to see what they are talking about.

I really like the Dr. Phil article on the side, what's the Enquirer without a good screaming match.

Angelina Jolie is crazy rich. She's so rich in fact that she can spend her money on whatever she wants without giving it a second thought. Point in case, she just bought a mattress for 65,000 pounds, and here I was worried about my $45.00 millet pillow.
According to someone who knows stuff," Jolie is hoping to get good sleep with her brand new mattress." I sure hope she is getting a good night sleep for how much it cost her. The mattress was handmade and it only took 150 hours to make. Now I know you want to splurge and buy yourself a good nights sleep, so here's the info, you know just in case. It's a Vividus Horsehair mattress, handmade in Sweden and you can get it for the bargain price of 65,000 pounds.

I'm just going to adjust my millet pillow until it is perfect and potty train my little one so he'll stop getting up in the middle of the night, so I can get a good nights sleep. No horsehair mattress for me. My $800.00 mattress will just have to do.

The Vividus looks comfortable, but if it is too comfortable wouldn't it be harder to get out of bed to go to work to pay for it.

The Truth About Angelina Jolie

Now that Angelina Jolie has come out her self imposed hiding, the news or tabloids have been full of information about her. Not like we let the fact that she was hiding stop us, we just speculated more.
Now there is a plethora of information about her. YAY!! Some of it even explains the origins of the rumors that have been floating around this past summer.

First, there is the fact that she said that, the birth of her fifth and sixth children has left her exhausted, and all but put the stoppers on her sex life with Brad Pitt. Is that the beginning of the "mad at him" rumors?

Then there is the fact that she almost didn't take the role offered to her by Clint Eastwood until Brad changed her mind. She said, “It was very hard for me. I read the script and I couldn't put it down, but I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to touch something that had to do with children being kidnapped. It scared me because anything happening to my kids is my biggest fear. But then I found myself telling Brad the story and thinking about this woman and what she went through. Throughout the filming I was very emotional. I was hugging my children more than ever and I wanted to know where they were at all times. I always had one of them on set and it was a hard thing to do – facing my biggest nightmare. I'm a mom so it doesn't take much to imagine these things. I don't think I would have played this role with as much emotion and understanding if I wasn't a mother.” Ah, so that's what sparked all the rumors about her being afraid of her kids being kidnapped. Remember that one?

There is also the rumor that Angelina is going to be sainted but I think, the fact that a new edition of the Bible, Bible Illuminated: The Book, is designed like a glossy fashion magazine and includes a picture of Angelina Jolie. The book is part of a publishing trend to offer "gateway Bibles" for the secular crowd.
I'm not sure why her picture would be in the bible unless it's for her humanitarian effort.

Guess Who Moved Here?

An A-list family just relocated to this house in Germany. Do you know who it is?

I'll give you a couple of hints.

They may have relocated because the house they currently live in is a "pig-sty". The kids are reported to have have tooth-paste wars and leave gunk every where.

Got it yet? No, here's another one, Momma can't cook,.

Ah yes,you guessed it. It's the Jolie-Pitt family.

Star magazine is reporting that they are very messy, "the whole house is a mess and includes the aftermath of toothpaste wars and blue dye jobs". If true, I hope they were able to find someone to give the house a once or twice over before they get back. They've got 90 days to put it to rights.

The real reason they moved though is to be close to Brad,contrary to popular split up rumors, as he works on the movie Inglorious Bastards.

This way they will be able to be introduced to new cuisine since Angelina doesn't cook and doesn't know how. She says that Brad feels that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and she says, "when I get away from filming and doing interviews, I join Brad and the children to have breakfast or lunch. Brad is always thinking about the kids and what to feed them for breakfast."

Angelina Jolie- Not Wanted In England

France loves her but England is shutting her down. Actually, I'm sure there are those that love her in England as well but, they don't love the posters for the film Wanted.

The posters are felt to glamourize guns, and members of the community felt that they would, " provoke violence or antisocial behaviour." London has seen an increase in gun and knife violence of late, and some in the community felt that the posters glamourized a life of violence, and shouldn't be seen by children.

In its adjudication, the industry watchdog ruled: "We acknowledged most viewers would understand the posters reflected the content of an action film. However, we considered that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorise the use of guns and violence. We concluded [they] could be seen to condone violence by glorifying or glamorising the use of guns." An ASA spokesman added: "We have seen a proliferation of complaints from the public about advertising which is seen to condone gun or knife crime. We are responding to the level of consumer concern." The film studio, Universal Pictures, said the posters had not appeared near schools or other areas frequented by children.

This may seem like an extreme action to take, but gun and knife crime in England has been steadily increasing since 2004/2005, and citizens are afraid for the lives of their children.

We haven't heard from Angelina on the subject, she's a little busy right now, but one would hope that she would be supportive, and applaud the efforts made by these parents on behalf of their children.
