Orphans Make It Difficult To Have Kids, Says Ashley Judd

If Willie Garson wasn't tugging on my heartstrings hard enough today, Ashley Judd just broke them.

Ashley is struggling with the decision to have children, after working as a global ambassador for the YouthAIDS organization. YouthAIDS, an education and prevention program of PSI, uses media, pop culture, music, theatre and sports to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and reach 600 million young people in more than 60 countries with life-saving messages, products, services and care.

Judd says, "The fact that there are 25 million AIDS orphans makes it hard to decide [to have kids]. The fact that 11 million children will die this year before reaching their fifth birthdays makes it hard. We should be providing for the ones who are here."

Heartbreaking. What's worse is the pain some children suffer in silence at the hands of UN Peacekeepers.

Our world needs to change.

Fans Trying To Save Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch

Recently we learned that Michael Jackson might lose Neverland Ranch if he doesn't come up with the $25 million necessary to keep it.

Crazed Jacko fans Liam Collins, 29, and David Bone, 26, placed a bid on the Neverland Ranch in an effort to save the property. Their plan is to rent it back to Jackson and his family once it's saved.

Not to be mean or anything, but Liam and David are nuts if they think he'll pay their rent either. Seeing as they have more money than brains, I really think they ought to give me their money and I'll decide where to put Jackson. Then I'll pocket the other $24,999,900 dollars.

Michael Jackson to Perform at Grammy Awards?

Fox News is reporting the posibility, but despite sources insisting the pop star has been rehearsing, even this reporter is unsure:

"A lot could change between now and Sunday night, but the scenario that’s been described for me goes something like this: Justin Timberlake starts the show singing along with a tape of Frank Sinatra. The next act up is Jackson, performing one of his hits from "Thriller," possibly even re-creating the dance number for "Billie Jean" he made famous at the Motown 25th anniversary show in 1983.

Will it happen? Who knows. Jackson, my sources insist, has been rehearsing at a Burbank studio and keeping away from the Staples Center, where the Grammy show takes place."

Michael Jackson's Debt To Wyclef Jean

Michael Jackson's debt is no secret. He owes in excess of $300 million dollars.

Wyclef Jean says Michael owes him thousands of dollars from production work they did in 1997. "Michael Jackson owes me money," he said. "Mike, holla at me. You know what it is."

"We did a couple of sessions," Wyclef explained. "It was a long time ago now, but I still haven't been paid. Mike knows the money he owes me. I just wish he'd get in touch."

Well Wyclef, don't count on it. Jackson is too busy acting like a complete lunatic and CPS never does anything about it. One day those kids will grow up and write autobiographies that will say what really goes on in their "family."

Just kidding. Of course Jesus wouldn't reject Spears. What was that bit in Gospels? The pantiless shall inherit the earth? Jesus loves all of his flock, even the ones who drive around on amphetamines with their kids in the backseat, looking for their next frappuccino fix. Jesus loves us all.

That said, is it really clear from the picture above that Britney is into Jesus? Sure, she's carrying a book about Jesus, or at least a book with Jesus on the cover, but isn't it possible that she mistook Jesus for Fabio, and that she really thinks that that's just an unusually thick Harlequin romance? OMG y'all some lady at KFC just gave me this book and she like said it was all about this guy who was like all about the love and all and who brings a lotta wine to parties and all and d'y'all think it has pictures? I'm gonna like totally read it y'all!

I know, I know - it is deeply un-Christian to cast aspersions upon another's faith. But I'm agnostic, so I get to be a cynical bitch when I feel like it.

Britney Spears Being Investigated for Child Abuse?

TMZ is reporting that an unscheduled hearing was held today concerning possible allegations towards Britney Spears of child abuse. Spears and Kevin Federline were represented by their attorneys, respectively.

States TMZ: We do not know the specifics of the allegations but we're told the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation.

Damn, Britney. What are you doing?

Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Paris

So, if you're like me, you're probably looking at this picture and thinking, why is Paris Hilton terrorizing that toddler? The kid looks horrified, as well she should be, because it's Paris Hilton. She carries more strains of viral bacteria than an overcrowded daycare.

But as chilling as the idea of Paris playing with children is, in the case of this particular photo that is exactly what is going on. If you count 'posing' as 'playing,' that is.That kid isn't horrified - she's blinking against paprazzi lights while she poses with Paris, who is, apparently, her idol.

The kid is four. FOUR. Who encourages their four-year old to emulate Paris facking Hilton? Who lets their four year old within contagion distance of Paris Hilton? That kid's mother deserves a smack in the head.

This picture, plus these others from DListed, are a year or so old, but they still reek of fresh crazy. Michael and "his" kids were at a Japanese orphanage, attending a performance. Y'okay, quick question - isn't it usually the people on stage who wear costumes? WHY does he have masks on these poor kids? Not to mention, HOW did this bizarre man-child actually gain control over the lives of others?

At some point "his" kids will want to wear masks when they are out with him, because he is so f***ing crazy. But right now, it's pure child abuse. Look at the sad posture on both of these kids! Don't you want to go kidnap them for their own good?

He used to be talented and entertaining, but the time is far past ripe for an intervention. There has to be someone marginally sane who can influence him! Liz Taylor, I'm talking to you. You're a mom, you have money for rehab or whatever kind of therapy his freaky ass needs and for whatever reason you have a relationship. Do something!
