Hugh Laurie's Brand New House is Robbed

We told you about Hugh Laurie's family finally moving to the United States after staying in England for the first four years of "House." Hugh just bought a $4 million mansion earlier this month and someone already broke into the house and robbed it.

Laurie had his laptop and some other personal things stolen. Everyone is okay - Hugh and wife Jo were sound asleep when the burglars broke in. It's believed that the same group of thieves broke into other stars' homes, like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and studio boss Sherry Lansing, all who live near Laurie.

Police said, "The raid on Hugh Laurie was very similar to ones we have been investigating in that area. It is lucky that he did not disturb the burglars or we could have been looking at something much more serious."

Thank God everyone is okay. Hopefully, those punks will be caught soon.

Jodie Foster's Cheating Ways Will Cost Her $25 Million

Jodie Foster and her partner of 14 years, Cydney Bernard have called it quits - well, more specificially, Jodie left the relationship for another woman - writer/producer, Cynthia Mort. And her cheating ways may cost her $25 million clams!

Reportedly Jodie is trying to play nice so all of this stays out of the public eye (uh, it's not working?), and is doing her best to keep her ex content.

According to the National Enquirer, the 46-year-old actress could lose $25 million in alimony, which is about a quarter of her net worth. However, half of that, was earned while she and Cydney were together - meaning that Cydney could be entitled to that $25 million without a fight.

So Foster is doing whatever she can to keep the peace and she's apparently even trying to get Cydney and her current lover, Cynthia to be friends. *Ahem* Good luck with that!

An insider says, "She wants them to be friends. Jodie realizes that if Cydney perceives them to be one big happy family, she'd never sue for half her assets."

So far, Cydney gets to live free at one of Jodie's homes, gets invites to bashes held at Foster's house and gets to visit with her sons, Charles, 10, and Christopher, 6,. She's also receiving a six-figure income from Jody.

S'alright I guess but I think if I were entitled to $25 million clams, I'd be asking for it!

Jodie Foster, 47, and long-time love of 14 years, Cydney Bernard, have reportedly split and it may be that another woman has swept Jodie off of her feet. Foster and Bernard have two children together - Charlies, 9, and Kit, 6.

The National Enquirer claims a source said, "Jodie breaking up with Cydney is shocking. Right now it's the best kept secret in Hollywood, and it's not just because Jodie is a legend and an intensely private person, either. She and Cydney have been together for so many years and have two children together, the potential fallout and legal wrangling from this split could be monumental."

Cindy Mort, a producer and screenwriter is the new woman in Jodie's life. She is the former partner of thirtysomething's Melanie Mahron and they have two children together. Complicated situation!

Jodie and Cindy met on the set of Foster's 2007 movie The Brave One and it's rumored that their fling began before Jodie's split with Cydney.

Cydney and Jodie are still living together but an insider said, "Although she and Cydney remain under the same roof at the moment, the relationship has been shattered."

The will, however, continue to raise their two sons together and do their best to keep a "loving family unit" despite their separation.

Stop the presses: Jodie Foster is gay. While it doesn't come as any surprise to most who have known for years that Foster has been quietly raising two children with partner Cydney Bernard, the media is in a frenzy over the news that Foster publicly acknowledged her longtime companion at the 16th Annual Women in Entertainment breakfast on Tuesday.

Never mind that Foster was presented with the prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership award that honored her 42 years in the business and reportedly gave a very humble and moving acceptance speech. The thing that’s making big news are the few words that she said at the end of her remarks, "...my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss."

Did Foster intend her words to garner as much attention as they have, or was she simply just thanking her significant other for her support? I'm thinking she's wishing she had just thanked God and her lawyers like every other award recipient does.
