Celebrity Parenting is Hard, Just Ask Dina Lohan

The life of a celebrity, though full of money and special treatment, isn't easy. The life of a celebrity's mom isn't easy either, especially if your Lindsay Lohan's mom.

Sure, she may act entirely inappropriate by taking her, way underage, daughter Ali out to a night club, or whatever they were doing. But she still had to be their for Lindsay, during her latest breakup with Samantha Ronson.

Dina Lohan was really there for Lindsay. She sat next to her as she drank herself into oblivion. Dina looked on as Lindsay, who has been in and out of rehab, pick up a bottle of Belvedere and chug it.

I wish my mom was there for me, just like that.

What is wrong with this family? Lindsay's little sister, Ali, needs to get out as soon as she can, leave this life completely behind her. Her mom is not showing a very supportive side of herself, unless of course, you count the fact that she drove Lindsay home. Or at least I hope she did.

Could you imagine letting your child, with an alcohol abuse issue, drink themselves into oblivion? Break up or no, that's just not good parenting.

Yes I know Lindsay is of age, but you never stop being a mother.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Talk About Adoption

Now that Lindsay Lohan has confirmed her relationship with Samantha Ronson the girls are ready to take the next step.

Lindsay says she'd like to adopt a newborn baby or a child that just needs a new home. This all came out in an interview with the British Marie Claire, in which she said, "at some point, I want to adopt a kid – a child in need or a newborn from another country."

She also said that she doesn't care what people think about Samantha Ronson because she is a great person.

The couple just returned from vacationing in Mexico, where they spent a few days relaxing at the beach in the sun.

*Sigh* I sure could use some time relaxing in the sun at the beach.

Lindsay Lohan Wants To Get Pregnant

Lindsay Lohan is ready to have a baby. She and Samantha Ronson are likely to shop around to Lindsay's ex-boyfriends for the baby-making juice they need.

Lindsay has made a "comeback" this year. She did a stint in rehab that seems to be sticking this time. She also is acting more professional on the set, which is a definite improvement over the last few years.

Is this enough to make her baby ready? Not really, but, “Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She’s been having deep discussions about a baby. She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriends to help out. They don’t want to adopt.”

So she wants a baby to make her feel whole, and to help her heal and get better, there is so much wrong with that.

Which of her ex's do you think would do it? There are so many to choose from, that I would have to do some research to try to figure it out.

Disney's Selena Gomez Has Big Shoes to Fill

Selena Gomez has been all but crowned the next 'it' teen for Disney. This is a long and impressive list, and it is also a very checkered one.

Remember when it was generally accepted that Christina Aguilera was the bad one and that Britney Spears was golden? Time is funny, isn't it? The thing is, the press loves to make a big deal about the troubles of the Disney teen idol (the girls that is, you don't hear anything about Justin Timberlake or Zac Efron- apparently gender is funny, too), but for every Lindsay Lohan spreading stank in her wake there is a Hilary Duff working hard and doing it right. For every Vanessa Anne Hudgens there is an Anne Hathaway.

The most recent young lady to sit the throne, Miley Cyrus, is in a bit of PR spin, but let's be frank, she hasn't done anything wrong. She isn't doing drugs or endangering small children. Sure, there have been pictures released that may cast question on her judgment, but hey, she wasn't nude. She's just a teenager doing teenage stuff, but unlike most kids she's filthy rich and living under a microscope. It's hard to believe the commotion a few artsy photos caused when one channel over an equally young teenage star is about ready to have a baby. Isn't that a bit more scandalous?

So, the question is, will Miss Gomez be pregnant and in rehab before sweeps week or will she be able to stay the path despite the lures and pitfalls it offers?

Her parents swear she'll be okay, and like other well-meaning showbiz parents before them are putting themselves in the position to either protect their daughter or make total asses of themselves. Hey, it happens.

According to People, Selena's mother Mandy Teefey claims that she (along with Selena's dad) will keep her daughter out of trouble. For instance, she has a midnight curfew (or earlier) and never attends events without a parent. She is also held accountable with duties around the house. Says Teefey, "If she cooks, I clean. If I cook, she cleans. She has to help feed the dogs. There are really no set chores. We just all pitch in when needed."

We hear this talk from parents all the time. I hope they manage to avoid the trappings of the limelight and don't go the way of the Lohans. I really don't want to be searching for this post in 8 months as a reference to the calm before the storm.

Lindsay Lohan Pregnant? Man, I Hope Not.

Look, I've got nothing here but a fansite quoting a bunch of unnamed gossip sites quoting a bunch of unnamed friends (actually, that's about all I ever have) saying that America's sweetheart, Lindsay Lohan, is pregnant.

I know, I should have made sure you were sitting down first, but in my defense, who the hell stands at a computer? This isn't Star Trek. Still, the news that someone as pure and innocent as little Lindsay could possibly be in a family way, implying that she may have experimented with the intercourse, that is jaw-dropping stuff.

What if it's The Parent Trap curse? She could have twins, and one will go off to live with her dad, that DJ dude, Sam, that Lohan's always hugging on, and the other twin will stay with her in rehab! Oh man, a sequel. Maybe this isn't as bad as I thought.

So let me add that to the rumor mill, she is pregnant with twins and the only way that she'll be able to tell them apart will be by dressing the boy in shades of blue.
