Madonna Consults Psychic Healer About Failed Adoption

Let's face it, in a perfect world, Madonna would have probably been granted custody of Mercy James last month, but this isn't a perfect world -- it's a material one.

When you happen to be a material girl, who pretty much gets anything she wants -- and has for the last two decades -- getting denied can make you feel like you got knocked off your alignment with the universe.

That's why Madonna has been holding powwows with famous soothsayer "Mama Love" -- who has also counseled Xtina and Scarlett Johansson -- in the aftermath of her failed adoption. According to a tipster:

“She has turned to Mama Love before and knows she gets the answers and advice she needs from her. She advised Madonna to slow down and let her spiritual side rise up. Mama told her, ‘You won’t get the adoption you are looking for because the spirit is trying to guide you to a higher maternal status. Follow my advice and you will become a mama of the world’.”

Is Desmond From LOST A Sexual Harasser?

Henry Ian Cusick (aka Desmond from LOST) is reportedly being sued for getting all inappropriate-like with a female crew member on the set of ABC's hit.

~~Desmond~~ Henry and wife Annie got married in 2006, but the couple had lived together for 14 years prior, and they have three sons Elias, Lucas, and Esau. The Cusicks live on the island of Ohau, nice and close to where the show is based.

The alleged victim, Chelsea Stone, filed the suit in Los Angeles Superior Court after being fired from ABC after 10 years. Supposedly, she was fired shortly after reporting Cusick's unwanted advances. According to the legal documents:

“Such harassment included but not limited to the following conduct: Cusick placed his hand on Plaintiff’s buttocks. Cusick then began to caress the back of Plaintiffs body while making moaning sounds. Cusick then placed his face on top of Plaintiff’s breasts, moving his face from side to side.

“Cusick then squeezed Plaintiff’s breasts with his hands. Cusick further kissed Plaintiff on the mouth. At all times during the sexual harassment Plaintiff communicated to Cusick that his sexual advances were unacceptable.”

Crazy, and Cusick really doesn't even seem like the touchy feely type at all. It's gotta be pretty weird to know that your father's being sued for sexual harassment. I feel sorry for the kids.

Britney Pays K-Fed For Doing Nothing

So exactly what is Kevin Federline getting paid $5000.00/week for? I thought he was getting paid to take care of the boys while Britney is on tour. I guess taking care of the boys means, leaving them with the nanny for some quality me time.

I don't get these celebrity parents that take the time to have kids but then send them off with the nanny. That's not being a parent, that's called being selfish in my book. Can't they be a celebrity and a parent the same time?

Kevin spent his first night in New Orleans at a casino gambling his/Britney's money away.

The boys spent the day checking out the scenery of the city. Do you think Kevin will step up and spend the rest of the time with his boys?

Oh Madonna, why are you so sad? Do you really need some 22 year old boy to make you feel better about yourself?

Every one has speculated on the nature of their relationship, is he her boy toy, are they just friends?

Jesus' mother feels that Madonna kidnapped her son, that she snatched him away to her love nest and is controlling his every move. She must believe the Brazilian media, because they reported the Madonna's PR people confiscated his cellphone. That fear was exacerbated by the fact that he left the family a text message saying he wouldn't be home for the holidays.

His grandmother is upset as well, as well she should be, Madonna is a year older than she is. I bet she's not robbing the cradle with some 22 year old model.

p.s. Before you get all bent out of shape, I would say the same thing about a 51 year old guy hooking up with some 22 year old girlie.

Mark Wahlberg was a guest of David Letterman's last night promoting The Happening and as usual the topic turned to kids (and aliens vs. Jesus). Mark and his partner Rhea Durham are expecting a baby boy later this summer.

I'll throw the video on here when it becomes available, but in the meantime enjoy this clip of Wahlberg leaving the theater and interacting with his fans and some people that don't know who he is.

The Un-Christmas Dinner at Madonna's House

Recent gossip surrounding Madonna and Christmas (whether she celebrates or whether she doesn't) had me confused until I realized she is crazy. Personally I could care less if her family celebrates Christmas, since it's something I'd love to quit but only because of the running around. I wish Santa was real so I could sit back and enjoy the holiday!

This story caught my attention and I heard a scream as I finished reading it: "No Wire Hangers!"

Yes, Madonna reminds me of a ghost of Christmas past -- Joan Crawford.

Oh I hope it's not like that in their house, but this tidbit from "a friend" had me concerned:

"They entertain beautifully, but it isn't what you would call conventional,'' a friend says.

"A housekeeper will set out a great big table covered in stuff, all macrobiotic, which no one dares eat unless Madonna tucks in.

"They're all terrified of her.''

Apparently Madonna never strays from her daily 2-3 hour workout. So there's speculation she'll fit that in as well. I guess if she doesn't have to cook a giant turkey and stuffing, she's got the time.

Maybe she's on to something, but it sounds miserable to me. Hurry up Lourdes and write a book.

Sherri Shepherd Shouldn't Homeschool

If you watch The View as religiously as I do then you know that Sherri Shepherd isn't exactly the sharpest bulb in the burrito. First she didn't know whether or not the world was round (yes, the one we live on), and then lately she was doing some crazy photoshopping with her tongue to the historical time-line of this flat planet.

I'm not sure why she's even on the program. She should be on a reality show with Jessica Simpson. I bet Jessica knows the difference between flat and round.

BTW, the sweet little boy is Sherri's son Jeffery. We should all chip in now and get the kid a set of encyclopedias. I feel like we owe him.

Just kidding. Of course Jesus wouldn't reject Spears. What was that bit in Gospels? The pantiless shall inherit the earth? Jesus loves all of his flock, even the ones who drive around on amphetamines with their kids in the backseat, looking for their next frappuccino fix. Jesus loves us all.

That said, is it really clear from the picture above that Britney is into Jesus? Sure, she's carrying a book about Jesus, or at least a book with Jesus on the cover, but isn't it possible that she mistook Jesus for Fabio, and that she really thinks that that's just an unusually thick Harlequin romance? OMG y'all some lady at KFC just gave me this book and she like said it was all about this guy who was like all about the love and all and who brings a lotta wine to parties and all and d'y'all think it has pictures? I'm gonna like totally read it y'all!

I know, I know - it is deeply un-Christian to cast aspersions upon another's faith. But I'm agnostic, so I get to be a cynical bitch when I feel like it.

No Christmas For Madonna's Family!

Guy Ritchie, Madonna's husband, said they do not allow their 7 year old son, Rocco, two year old son David and 11 year old Lourdes to celebrate the Christian holiday. Madge is a devote follower of Kabbalah, a mystical off shoot of Judaism. Guy told BANG Showbiz at the premiere of Fred Clause, "We cancelled Christmas two years ago in our household. Once we canceled it, we stopped all the presents, and once we stopped all the presents we started enjoying ourselves more."

Kabbalah followers only celebrate Jewish holy days. They don't recognize Christmas or Easter because they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. Madonna got involved in Kabbalah in the late 90's and has spent $2.4 million dollars promoting her religion around the world in the past few years. She also changed her name to the ancient Hebrew name of Esther and has written a series of children's books based on the faith's teachings.

Well Madonna used to like Santa because she sang a song about it. And here's a Christmas present from me to you because I'm not cancelling Christmas.

As promised, Julia Roberts 'unveiled' Baby Henry on Oprah the other day. The 'unveiling' was just Julia holding up a small black and white photo, but that didn't stop the Oprah-philes from freaking out as though she'd just revealed a Polaroid of Jesus.

Seriously, the kid's cute and all - and his mother has considerable charm when she's not, you know, cheating the handicapped out of their parking spots - but manic cheering at a photo? Those people need to get out more. Or read more gossip blogs. Whichever.
