Geri Halliwell was spotted picking up some baby clothes for daughter Bluebell in London over the weekend. White sunglasses, frilly short skirt - this kid's going to give Paris Hilton a run for her money.

But life isn't all cheery pink ruffles. In a recent interview with The Independent Halliwell talked about an unfortunate incident from her past.

Yes, we're talking about that swimsuit. "I wish I'd never worn an American flag motif swimsuit to the MTV Awards when I was in the Spice Girls. This was me hating myself and hiding under mountains of make-up."

If it's any consolation to you, Geri, yours certainly wasn't the only fashion faux-pas in the group.

Geri Halliwell Was Swept Off Her Feet

Geri Halliwell returned from a whirlwind vacation with her beau Fabrizio Politi. Wait, didn't they just meet?

The couple met in a Florence night club in December but have spent almost every waking moment together over the past two months. They've been to Paris and the Maldives getting closer and closer and being swept away by romance.

Geri’s management firm said: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi. As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season."

The wedding date has yet to be set, because the couple plans on enjoying their engagement, pehaps they'll get to know each other as well.

Fabrizio is pretty cute. Their story is straight out of romance novel, hopefully it ends just as well. With him being a great dad and them living happily ever after.

Geri Halliwell is much, much more than just Ginger Spice. Geri branched out after her singing career and published a series of children's books. The series was such a success that she was named 2008's best selling children's author. Have you read the books? I have not, but 250,000 copies have been sold, so somebody liked them.
Geri said this about her success, "I'm so happy that everyone loves Ugenia as much as I do."
Good for her, it's nice to see the Spice Girls move on and be successful.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton Wants More Children

Three months after having her first child - son Beau Lee - Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice was back on the road with the world tour reuntion of the Spice Girls. Luckily, she and three of the other Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, and Geri Halliwell - were all able to travel with their children. Melanie Chisholm just announced that she's pregnant, by the way.

Emma says that she and the other girls are often in touch with each other, but they're now settling down into family lives, even though the reunion tour was a big success. They often call and text each other.

Emma now lives in London with her partner, Jade Jones, and Beau. She says it's great because her extended family live very close by, so Beau gets to see his grandparents every day. Makes for a great babysitting situation, too.

Emma and Jade have "always wanted a restaurant of our own," and she is also "looking forward to having more children, but not just yet." For now, they're very happy as is and just want to live in the moment.

Mel C of is the last of the Spice Girls without children, but she is certainly in no rush.

"Arggh!" she yells. "Don't mention the ‘B' word! Everybody asks whether I'm going to be next or whether I'm trying at the moment.

"I hate to disappoint people, but the answer is ‘no'. Everyone thinks that because I'm 34 and in a serious relationship, I'm desperate to start a family.

"But I'm not. I love kids and one of the best bits about touring with the Spice Girls this time round was getting to know everyone's babies.

"I think people expected me to start feeling broody, but I didn't and I still don't. I'm sure at some point babies will be part of my future, but I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling happy without them."

Mel has been with her boyfriend for 6 years and has property all over.

Motherhood can wait, however. "It's great the other girls are mothers, but we all have different paths in life, and mine doesn't include babies right now."

She shares, with a laugh, "And while I'm being so honest, I'd better say my current plans don't include marriage either. Maybe one day, but right now neither of us is in any rush to change things."

How scary! Last night's Glamour Awards got quite terrifying for the Spice Girl when a women screamed threats and abuse regarding her and her baby daughter, Bluebell. (I guess she's not so much a baby anymore, she just turned two.)

Somehow, the woman got past security and came after Geri and her little girl. How scary for both of them!

According to The London Paper the woman posed as a competition winner to gain entry to the celebrity event in London's Berkeley Square.

Geri managed to move past the incident once security dealt with the woman, and later went to accept an award with Emma Bunton and Mel B, for Band of The Year.

After the taping of American Idol Gives Back, Geri Halliwell had a bit of trouble leaving from LAX. It wasn't security, or her passport though. It was 23 month old Bluebell Madonna. Bluebell was giving Mama a run for her patience by trying to bolt, screaming, then throwing herself on the floor.

Maybe celebrities are just like us after all. I've been known to wrangle a toddler or two with a hoodie.

Geri seemed to take it all in stride though. I'm just curious as to why she was chatting up the nanny instead of dumping the kid on her like other celebs do.

The Spice Girls ~~think we care~~ issued an apology for canceling the rest of their ~~world~~ tour. The tour was canceled due to family obligations they say, but Victoria Beckham is again attempting to steal the spotlight by telling the world she is responsible.

Really ladies, just wrap it up.

"It's been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. Really sorry if we didn't get to see you this time around. We have other commitments in our lives now. But who knows what will happen next?" the band stated in the apology.

The tour is set to end in Toronto on February 26th.

Mothers everywhere rejoiced when we heard the Spice Girls final tour was coming to an end, and Victoria Beckham is claiming it was all her doing. Boy I'd like to shake her hand.

Husband David Beckham says his wife quit the Spice Girls to become a full time fashion designer. Victoria herself claims she only re-joined the Spice Girls for her 3 sons.

"I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn't want to send out a confused message," News of the World reported her as saying.

"The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once.”

Victoria has also said that she may not join ‘Spice Girls’ in future again.

"I've been thinking about this for a long time. I'm not in the music industry any more. I'm in the fashion industry,” she said.

"I'm putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month. It's the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together,” she added.

IMPORTANT TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!

The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Whatever. I'm glad to see them go home. All this hype for overpaid, undertalented women to act like heathens in front of America's, Canada's and Britain's daughters? They're like the Mom-version of Bratz dolls. And by Bratz dolls, I mean whorish puppets made of plastic.

It's isn't at all the way they dress. It's the way they conduct themselves in front of children. Grabbing tits and faking blow jobs on stage is not something I would want my child to see, nevermind the being drunk on stage, falling down and laughing about it. Some of these women are mothers themselves and ought to understand that their whorish behaviour and stupidity is ignorant when they know full well who their target market includes. When the Spice Girls announced their big tour in June, they were to play 5 continents but it seems they have decided to change their plans.

Fans in Buenos Aires in Argentina in South America, Cape Town, South Africa, Beijing and Shanghai in China, in Hong Kong and in Sydney, Australia, were all told to expect dates and are listed as possible destinations on the band's official website.

So far? Nothing.

A rep for the girls says, "There are definitely no dates set as such. But this is the way they have been doing the whole tour. I think the dates are planned to happen. There are no dates done yet. But I think they are planned."

Mel B opened her mouth once again, an an interview with V magazine, hinting that the tour would come to a close after the North America leg.

There seems to be a lack of interest, but the band's spokesperson is trying to dispel any rumors of the sort: "We have had an amazing demand for tickets across the world and we are currently having to reschedule our tour. Please keep checking this site and we will let you know what is happening as soon as we know," said a message to fans.

Really? Last I heard there were empty seats at the concerts. And the numbers the band's spokesperson is claiming is more than double what the Rolling Stones mad, making it quite unbelievable that the girls are doing so well.

Speaking last summer, at the world tour launch in London, Geri Halliwell declared: "Money is not an issue. We're doing this because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a Spice Girl again. Who would turn that down?"

I think Whit's right -- these girls aren't in the music industry so much as a product of it. It sounds as though the managers and financial backers are the ones pushing them to perform and well, as the song goes, these girls just wanna have fun!

Mel B is at it again with her trashy ways. Because gyrating all over a male dancer was not enough, Mel B and her big mouth are once again upsetting parents on the Spice Girls' tour.

Parents covered the ears of their little ones as Mel B went on a tirade about her private parts.

“It crossed the line. I know the Spice Girls are supposed to be a bit controversial but this is a family show,” The Sun quoted a parent as saying.

“It should come with a warning if that sort of language is going to be used. I wanted to walk out but that would have upset my kids."

“It would have also made her comments an even bigger deal, and my kids would have become more likely to repeat them in the playground knowing how rude they were,” the parent added.

I would have walked out and explained to my kids WHY we walked out. The Spice Girls KNOW there are kids in the audience and Mel herself is a mother.

I never understood the appeal of The Spice Girls, and this only reinforces my dislike for the band. Perhaps the word Spice could be replaced by Smut, or Sleaze, or Disgusting Talentless Rubbish. Just a thought.

Also, she told him that hubby David is "very loyal," which must be a very loosely interpreted term in the Beckham household, seeing as he's admitted to at least one extra-marital affair (with former nanny Rebecca Loos). So, is dear Posh just big on denial, or is she really not pregnant, and really convinced of her husband's eternal fidelity, and really, you know, a totally authentic, totally real chick with actual singing talent and real boobs?

I like Victoria Beckham, I really do, deep down in that perverse core of me that likes hard, ambitious girls in spiky heels, but I don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. So, not pregnant? Maybe not. But that new bleach-free hair-do and the trips to baby stores and the mid-concert proclamations of Spice mates all argue otherwise. (And? When Perez insists that a rumor is not true - as he did with J-Lo's preggo rumors, and is doing now with the Posh rumors - I assume the opposite to be true.) So, for the moment - Larry King and Perez Hilton, Posh-whores both, notwithstanding - I'm sticking with the story that there's a fourth Beckham on the way. And that those boobs are fake.

I suppose his bottom isn't really bare, is it? It's tightly wrapped in Armani boy-panties, which is the point, I suppose, seeing as he's stripped down for the express purpose of selling Armani underwear. I gotta say, no wonder Victoria keeps insisting that he impregnate her - he is one smokin' piece of man-flesh. A little fey in character, maybe, but indisputably cut.

I love that he always puts on that grr-rawr face when he's showing off his body - like he's an angry half-naked person, who deeply resents that he's been forced to disrobe, when in fact we all know that he luuuuurves taking off his clothes and thrusting his nether regions (fore or aft) toward a camera. Posh Pregnant

The rumors have been flying for a while now, but apparently it's true: Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, is pregnant with Baby Becks #4.

In what might have been the strangest celebrity pregnancy announcement ever, Geri Halliwell - Ginger Spice - blurted out the news in the middle of a performance of the song Wannabe at a Spice Girls concert at the Staples Center in LA, shouting "she's pregnant!" and pointing at Posh mid-performance.

If that wasn't scripted, I'm guessing that Ginger got a good talking-to off-stage.

Beckham reps have been denying rumors of a pregnancy for weeks now, but this is about as good a source and as good confirmation - live! mid-concert! - as it gets.

Geri Halliwell - aka Ginger Spice - reportedly got emotional at the first Spice Girls show in Vancouver the other day and issued a heartfelt apology to fans and her fellow Spice girls:

"I would like to say a big sorry to all the fans... especially those in America. I walked out on you as well as the girls. You never got to see us as a five-piece... this is my opportunity to make it up to everyone. Thanks for the second chance."

Aaaawww. That would, like, totally warm my heart if it weren't so likely to have been staged. I'm sure that Geri regrets bringing the Spice Girls juggernaut to an end - more, I'm sure, because it represented the death of her career than because she just really hates that she let all those North American fangirls in platform boots down - but I seriously doubt whether there was a single second in that show and in the entire Spice Girls relaunch project that was not micro-produced. So, yeah, that apology? Scripted.

Yeah, I'm a buzzkill. So sue me.

Kicking off their tour in Vancouver Canada, the Spice Girl's are excited about their comeback tour, but Victoria doesn't want hubby David Beckham to attend.

“One minute Victoria is saying she wants me there and then it’s ‘No, don’t come to the first show, as we’ll all be too nervous’.”

“I think I’ll be at the show a couple of days later in San Jose and have the boys with me. And I know VICTORIA will ring me as soon as the first show ends.

“She says the rehearsals have gone amazingly well.”

It would be difficult for the soccer star to make it to Vancouver for that first concert anyway. He would have faced a 16 hour flight from New Zealand where his team is on tour.
