McConaughey Talks About DJing Camila's 14 Hour Labor

Like lots of trendy ladies these days, Camila loaded an iPod playlist full of tunes that she thought she'd like to hear while she was in labor with son Levi. As a supportive boyfriend and father, Matthew McConaughey got to be the DJ.

Unlike some more common playlists loaded with calming, inspirational pop tunes like Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely," Camila apparently went with a playlist full of Brazilian tribal tunes to help her through the journey -- and apparently she's pretty picky about her tribal grooves.

While Camila was the one doing all the pushing, McConaughey apparently found the task of DJing the even pretty exhausting as well:

“She was also really quick to say, ‘Skip that f–kin’ song!’ So here I was blazing through this playlist while she’s nodding her head yay or nay, and I’m like, ‘This next song better have that groove or I’m going to have to run across the bed and change it.’”

Have you guys ever created a labor playlist? If so, what songs did you put on it. I know what my #1 pick would be: "Welcome to the Jungle."

Celebrity Parenting is Hard, Just Ask Dina Lohan

The life of a celebrity, though full of money and special treatment, isn't easy. The life of a celebrity's mom isn't easy either, especially if your Lindsay Lohan's mom.

Sure, she may act entirely inappropriate by taking her, way underage, daughter Ali out to a night club, or whatever they were doing. But she still had to be their for Lindsay, during her latest breakup with Samantha Ronson.

Dina Lohan was really there for Lindsay. She sat next to her as she drank herself into oblivion. Dina looked on as Lindsay, who has been in and out of rehab, pick up a bottle of Belvedere and chug it.

I wish my mom was there for me, just like that.

What is wrong with this family? Lindsay's little sister, Ali, needs to get out as soon as she can, leave this life completely behind her. Her mom is not showing a very supportive side of herself, unless of course, you count the fact that she drove Lindsay home. Or at least I hope she did.

Could you imagine letting your child, with an alcohol abuse issue, drink themselves into oblivion? Break up or no, that's just not good parenting.

Yes I know Lindsay is of age, but you never stop being a mother.

Fatboy Slim in Rehab

Fatboy Slim, aka DJ Norman Cook, has checked himself into rehab for alcohol addiction.

Cook has a nine-year-old son named Woody. Sounds like rehab should have come a bit sooner, but hey, at least he's going now. Woody will be the better for it.

The 45-year-old Cook told the Mirror UK, “...sometimes it feels a little undignified but I never seem to get tired of getting drunk.

“I’ve tried going on stage sober and it wasn’t much fun.

“There’s a certain bravado involved in what I do. It takes a lot of alcohol to stop me thinking ‘You’re a 40-year-old man. What are you doing whirling that towel above your head’?”

Cook may be best known for his role as Fatboy Slim but I'm a bigger fan of his previous projects the Housemartins and Beats International. Still, you can't deny the pure awesomeness of this:

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Talk About Adoption

Now that Lindsay Lohan has confirmed her relationship with Samantha Ronson the girls are ready to take the next step.

Lindsay says she'd like to adopt a newborn baby or a child that just needs a new home. This all came out in an interview with the British Marie Claire, in which she said, "at some point, I want to adopt a kid – a child in need or a newborn from another country."

She also said that she doesn't care what people think about Samantha Ronson because she is a great person.

The couple just returned from vacationing in Mexico, where they spent a few days relaxing at the beach in the sun.

*Sigh* I sure could use some time relaxing in the sun at the beach.

Franz Ferdinand's Drummer Paul Thomson a Dad Again

32-year-old drummer for Franz Ferdinand Paul Thomson is a dad for the second time. Wife Esther gave birth to their second son Friday. Paul lives in London. He and Esther (a DJ) also have a 2-year-old son, Georgie.

Franz Ferdinand was supposed to be headlining Friday night with The Ting Tings, but swapped places when Thomson's wife went into labor. Instead, the band did an acoustic set and announced the news to the audience.

Alex Kapranos said to the crowd, "I don't know if you've hear about Paul, our drummer - his wife went into labor. Then 20 minutes ago we heard she'd given birth to a baby boy."

Congrats, Paul and Esther. Rock on.

Lindsay Lohan Wants To Get Pregnant

Lindsay Lohan is ready to have a baby. She and Samantha Ronson are likely to shop around to Lindsay's ex-boyfriends for the baby-making juice they need.

Lindsay has made a "comeback" this year. She did a stint in rehab that seems to be sticking this time. She also is acting more professional on the set, which is a definite improvement over the last few years.

Is this enough to make her baby ready? Not really, but, “Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She’s been having deep discussions about a baby. She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriends to help out. They don’t want to adopt.”

So she wants a baby to make her feel whole, and to help her heal and get better, there is so much wrong with that.

Which of her ex's do you think would do it? There are so many to choose from, that I would have to do some research to try to figure it out.

It's Jenny Frost - former Atomic Kitten singer - enjoy the sunshine in Greece. She's vacationing with her fiance, DJ Dominic 'Dom T' Thrupp and their sweet 9 month old son Casper.

Jenny and Dom had a scare half way through her pregnancy:

“At my 20-week scan a development problem showed up with Caspar’s head, which was a huge concern and very scary. I have the best friends and family in the world but I like to deal with things on my own, so I went back into my shell and sat on the sofa, watched TV and ate. I just blocked everything out and said my prayers, and we got the all-clear at 27 weeks. We kept as positive as we could and, thankfully, Caspar’s perfect.”

Glad everything worked out and baby is healthy!

Angelina Jolie To Remain In Hospital For a Week

They certainly do things differently in France than in the "treat and street" United States. After giving birth to twins two days ago, Angelina Jolieis expected to stay in hospital for about a week.

"I think that Mrs Jolie will remain hospitalized [for] seven or ten days”, the actress' OB/GYN, Dr. Michel Sussman, tells Nice-Martin newspaper.

"You know, in Europe it isn't like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days," the doctor said during a press conference yesterday. "They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay."

Is it me or does this guy talk to the media a TON?

He further divulged details on the birth, regarding the timing of the C-section:

"We decided Saturday morning to advance the date of the childbirth of ten days for reasons of comfort for the mom," Dr. Sussmann said. "And finally, it was the good choice. The babies are splendid."

Seems like all the stars are heading to Sin City lately! The Simpson sisters and Ashlee's new husband Pete Wentz, or as I like to call him Mr. Eyeliner, attended the grand opening of the Palms Place Hotel & Spa on Saturday. Looks like I spent twenty-nine dollars on a new outfit at Hot Topic for nothing: Ashlee Simpson just cancelled her upcoming summer tour.

"After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour," a spokesperson tells Ok! magazine. "She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future."

The singer recently married Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and the two finally confirmed their not-so-secret pregnancy last week. I guess Ashlee just wants to concentrate on being a newlywed and an expectant mom which is fine, but now I'm stuck with these fishnet leggings and a tube dress printed with skulls.

DJ: "Took Drugs" With Kate Moss

DJ Elliot Eastwick is boasting online that he took drugs with Kate Moss at BFF's Davinia Taylor's 30th birthday party last weekend. Other guests in attendance included Naomi "I'll throw a phone at you" Campbell, and Sienna "I broke Jude Law's heart" Miller.

House DJ Eastwick, 34, writes on an internet forum: "Kate Moss spent all night in the (DJ) booth - I did poppers with her."

Amyl nitrate, also known as poppers, are legal to take, but illegal to supply. (Uh, I'm not well versed in the area of substance abuse but don't you have to be supplied drugs in order to take them?)

Also, this story is SO not a shocker. It's like reporting Britney is drunk, high, or has the IQ of a lamppost. Maybe Nicole Richie could save Britney and Kate too.

If you're reading this you obviously haven't been invited to Nicole Richie's baby shower that's taking place today. Me and Nicole are tight, so I'm pretty sure my invitation got lost in the mail. But I've been sleeping better just knowing that Paris and Nicole have patched things up. Nicole will need Paris to lean on when she's hard up for a babysitter, or to drive carpool once Paris gets those DUIs off her record.

In case you're thinking of crashing it, the affair is taking place at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Kevin Federline, seen here pouring some "juice" into the holy grail for douche bags, has got to be the biggest idiot to ever grace these pages. That's saying a lot.

Somehow K-Fed has managed to get a new girlfriend, and even more impressive, she's not pregnant yet.

Liz Hernandez, a pretty DJ that sounds like radio but looks like TV (wink, wink), is now the "lucky" lady in this Romeo's life. According to friends, K-Fed is always going on about how smart she is. No shit. He hasn't exactly been shagging his way through Mensa. My dog is smart too, but you don't see me taking it behind the middle school and trying to get it pregnant.

I'll give this a week. If she's not knocked-up by then, then his name ain't Federline.
