You gotta love Laird Hamilton. He's as manly as they come, and yet he still exudes that charming surfer loopiness. He and Gabrielle Reece are expecting their second child in January. Laird tells People they're waiting to find out the sex of the child. He also said that he'll know the name for sure at the last minute, but he's partial to Steep and Ledge -- either one as a first name, either one as a middle name.
From anyone else I'd say he's heading down a Slippery Slope in the express train to Crazynametown. But for Laird, yeah, that sounds about right.
