We
get pretty snarky, sometimes, here at Famecrawler; there's really no
good reason to do celebrity gossip, I think, unless you're going to
give it an edge. Still, we try to not be mean (quibble if you must, but
still - we try). And we certainly draw the snark line at the
kiddies. No making fun of the kiddies. The kiddies didn't ask for this
attention; the kiddies should be left alone.
Perez Hilton,
however, does not seem to recognize such a line, especially when it
comes to Britney Spears. Which, whatever. It sets my teeth on edge when
he calls her Shitney, but that's his prerogative, and it's not like
she's working very hard to avoid being mocked. But when he includes the
babies in his nastiness? That's just wrong, even if the nasty is really just watered-down stupidity mascarading as edgy commentary.
