The
most recent pile of skeletons to fall out of the Spears' family closet
is so disturbing as to make one fervently wish that history doesn't
repeat itself. Britney may be careening down the tracks of repeated
trainwrecks, but it seems that her personal tragedies (struggling for
custody of kids, fighting drug-use accusations, battling a declining
career) haven't yet reached the depths of tragedy reached by Spears' of
earlier generations.
