In many ways Elvis Costello and Diana Krall are the perfect celebrity couple. He's old, she's young(er). He's fairly goofy, she's fairly pretty. The main difference between them and most Hollywood fodder is that they are both pretty damn cool. It's refreshing. Not only that, they are actually popular for having... wait for it, talent. Gasp!
Krall, who gave birth to twins, Dexter and Frank, back in December, is back on tour, and the boys are along for the ride. She claims that the boys are enjoying themselves and behaving well on the road (how long can that last?).
I can just see Elvis sitting backstage with a baby on each knee while Mommy tickles the ivories. I wonder if he's found out what's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding? I'm sure the irony is not lost on him.
