The actress celebrated the grand opening of her own sweet shop in Los Angeles on Saturday, along with husband Mark Wilkerson, 32, lead singer for the band Course of Nature, and their sons Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months. I'll go ahead and state the obvious - they were like kids in a candy store!
Hart says the store is the culmination of a life-long goal. "It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid," she says of the idea she came up with together with mom Paula Hart. "I'm so excited to start this next adventure in my life." The star of Sabrina the Teenage Witch had friends Kellie Martin, Soleil Moon Frye and Jaime Pressly at the opening to start her on her way.
The store, cleverly named SweetHarts, features 200 different kinds of candy including Big League Chew, Jelly Bellies, Candy Lipstick, Nerds, Junior Mints and Bubble Tape gum.
They'll also sell frozen yogurt in flavors such as peach and bubble gum. "I love all the different candy because they remind me of my childhood," says Hart as she served up yogurt from behind the counter. "I can't wait for my kids to have their birthday parties here."
My teeth hurt just thinking about it. Which means I need to head on over there right away.
