The June issue of Health magazine is out and Brooke Shields is in it talking about sex. The former child star and model used to be quite uncomfortable with her looks. "I had the public and this pressure," Brooke says, wishing she'd loved her looks much sooner in life.
"I think I would have had sex a lot earlier," she said. "I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at 22." 22? I call bull. I SAW her and Christopher Atkins go at it in "The Blue Lagoon!"
Brooke, now 43 and still drop-dead gorgeous, says that if she'd gotten laid sooner "I think I wouldn't have had issues with weight. I carried this protective 20 pounds in college. It was all connected. And to me, that's a health regret."
Hard to imagine Brooke Shields having self-esteem issues, having dated people like John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Prince Albert of Monaco. Hell, she was married to Andre Agassi. But we all have our issues, I guess.
Nowadays, Brooke is married to television writer Chris Henchy, and the couple have two daughters - Rowan, 6, and Grier, 3.
She says that she's become much easier on herself as she's gotten older. "The older I get, the younger I feel," Brooke says. "The older I get, I actually feel younger! Which is good. I always thought when you get older, you’ll want to slow down, but I want to do even more."
