Dirk Nowitzki has to be crossing his fingers and hoping that Cristal/Christa really isn't pregnant.
His lawyer doesn't believe she is pregnant for a couple of reasons. 1. As soon as she was arrested her friend ran to Dirk's house to tell anyone that would listen, that Christa was pregnant. 2. Christa said she didn't even know that she was pregnant until the she was tested at the jail, twice.
There are other things that could lead to doubts. The fact that she is a con woman ranks right up there at the top of the list.
She, once arrested, was transfered to Beaumont, because she violated her probation. She was on probation for forgery, fraud, theft of service and who knows what else.
Of course, if she is pregnant with Dirk's baby, the baby will be well taken care of, especially if he were to get custody.
Let's hope everything works out for the best for all concerned.
