Stars Come Out For American Idol Finale: Heather Locklear and Daughter Ava

Heather Locklear and daughter Ava, 11, hit the red carpet of the American Idol finale last night. Ava is looking just like her mom these days. I wonder if they were rooting for Kris or Adam?

I'm a little ticked with Heather for turning down the role in the revamped Melrose Place that's coming to the CW in the fall.  Sure Laura Leighton (Sydney) and Thomas Calabro (Dr. Michael Mancini) will be returning, but  MP without Amanda Woodward?  That would be like American Idol without Simon.

As for Heather not re-joining Melrose Place, would you really want THAT mess back on the TV?  She's not well enough to do it and as a result it would be a disaster.  Heather knows it and her ''people'' know it, but the public keep going on about it.  She's not the Heather she was 5 years ago, she's just not well enough mentally to work 16 hour days.  It would be a disaster for her

the public have gone off Heather which is why none of her TV shows have worked over the past 3/4 years.  They don't care otherwise they would watch her.  So I just wish people would give up on the whole Melrose thing, it's not going to appen
