Anyone waiting for a Sex and the City movie sequel surely wasn't expecting this: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick will soon welcome their second and third children!  The couple's reps say they are expecting twin daughters this summer through a surrogate.

Their publicists said Tuesday that the SATC star and her husband are "overjoyed."

The twins will join big brother James Wilke, 6.

Congratulations to SJP and Matthew!  Now can we put those divorce rumors to rest?

Ugh, they have rented a womb to do this.  I guess she is too skinny to carry them herself.

I would imagine her age was more of the reason than her weight. Or she could have some medical condition (not weight or age related)preventing her from carrying the children herself.

That's kind of weird that she hired a surrogate to do this for her... didn't she have her first baby the old fashioned way?

yes, she had her first child the old fashioned way 6 years ago, alot can change

in ones body in 6 years especially at that age. to say it's weird would be assuming she did it only for some selfish egotistical reason like being pregnant

would get in the way of a career. i would be more on the side to assume her

age and or health reason prevented her from carrying a child and to me that

is not weird... my two cents whether it matters or not.: )

I fail to see why anyone cares that they've hired a surrogate.  How are we to know that they haven't been struggling with infertility ever since James was born?

Just because people are able to have one child doesn't mean they can have another.

I'm happy for them.  Well, as happy as you can be for strangers.

Good for her......more power!    I saw her on project runway and could see the sensitivity that she surely has!  If the husband works out who cares but she will have her family!
