Rod Stewart loves his kids, but when he comes to visit L.A he makes sure his grown kiddies get out of the house.
How funny and nice! His kids are all about making their dad's new family comfortable while they visit.
His son said, "He and Penny have their own family now and the big house is very much their home. When they are in town, they want their privacy. It's no big deal."
"Dad is spending more and more time in Britain because Penny wants to be near her family. He started building the guest house when Penny was pregnant. He wants her to feel the main house is their family home when they are in LA. And who wants their kids from previous relationships living on top of them when they are with their new family?
"When he is coming back to town, we other kids get a call, normally from his assistant, telling us, 'Dad is in town, clear the big house'. That's just how it works. We go over there for movie nights and for meals. But it's nice for them to have their privacy and for us to have ours."
Does that mean these kids have manners or at least common sense? Good job Rod Stewart! I probably kick the kids out of the house too. Would you?
