Despite how much Amy Poehler's baby belly added to the hilarity of everything she did on SNL last year, she's not looking forward to doing sketch comedy while pregnant again any time soon.
“It wasn’t [easy], because when you’re really that big and you’re doing
sketch comedy it’s like wearing a sombrero in every scene,” Amy said
during a Thursday visit to The Today Show. “It’s really hard to play different people.”
Sure, some of us might miss watching Amy do her thing -- like that amazing Sarah Palin rap -- with a pregnant belly, but it sounds like she's pretty happy to be free of the bump... as I'm sure most ladies are after 9 months.
Not to mention, Archibald "Archie" William Emerson is a lot more fun to play with now that he's out. Though he does wake up a bit on the early-side.
“He’s been up since 4 this morning, so he’s raring to go,” she explained before joking, “He had a little cup of baby coffee."
Amy and daddy Will Arnett wouldn't really let little Archie drink coffee yet, would they?
