Perhaps best known as Matthew McConaughey's baby mama, Camila Alves will be taking to the small screen to host Bravo's Shear Genius next season.
Since Matthew and Camila welcomed their son Levi in July, Camila hasn't been super busy with her modeling career. Her latest endeavor as a handbag designer hasn't exactly been going smoothly. In fact, it got kind of ugly there for a bit. Now, it seems that Camila's getting a pretty clean shot at getting her career back on track.
Sure, it may be a kinda cheesy reality show where stylists compete for $100,000 grand prize, but it's a pretty sweet gig if you ask me. It certainly ought to help give her celebrity status a boost ... and give people like me something else to call her besides "McConaughey's baby mama."
It's got to be tough going back into the workforce for the first time after you've been able to spend every waking moment with your baby. Maybe she can chat it up with Amy Poehler, who just returned to the small screen on Parks and Recreation. Did anybody watch last week's episode of P&R by the way? What did you think?
