As a dad, House star Hugh Laurie keeps his family cards played pretty close to the vest, choosing to keep his private life private. He's married to wife Jo Green and together the couple have 3 children - Charles, 20, Bill, 18, and Rebecca Augusta, 15.
But Hugh, 49, talked proudly about his family to Parade magazine. "I'll tell you the one extreme pleasure I admit to - praising them," Hugh said. "My children are actually perfect."
And they're much different than Dad, too. The children are "well aware" of Dad's "peculiar ways, and they're happy they haven't picked up Hugh's "dreary outlook."
"My children put up with me," he said. "For them, I am a cautionary tale. They look at me and say, 'The hell with it. I'm not going to live that way.' Good for them."
