For 12-year-old Jake Grunberg, son of "Heroes" star Greg Grunberg, epilepsy has been a part of his world for a long time. And coming upon puberty created many new problems with the disease for Jake.
Greg says, "Puberty screwed up levels of gauging whether his drugs were working or not. He was having more seizures, hundreds a day."
But thanks to some amazing brain surgery, Jake is doing much better off with his epilepsy now. "They removed the part of the brain that has the most epilepsy activity," Greg told People magazine. "Now Jake is only having a little tiny episode once every three weeks. To me, that's a home run. We never thought that was possible."

Now Greg has created a new epilepsy awareness web site, talkaboutit.org. "When we first discovered Jake had epilepsy," Greg says, "we went online, and all you discover is horror stories. Talkaboutit.org is a place where you can get information and you don't feel alone."
Chock full of stars such as Jack Black and Jennifer Garner, the site is chock full of great info, including ways you can get involved in the fight.
Go now and check it out. Greg will know if you've been there. He reads minds, remember?
