We've been hearing rumors forever that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz have a rocky marriage. They hit their 1-year anniversary on May 16.
"I laugh out loud at them," Pete says about the rumors. "I laugh at all of that stuff. It's like if someone wrote on the Internet that John McCain was our president right now. It's just not true."
The two spent some time apart, of course, during Pete's tour with Fall Out Boy, but recently reunited and smooched onstage during the MTV Australia awards on Friday. "Sorry, we haven't seen each other in a while," Pete said to the audience. "We're going to go and find some quiet time and fornicate somewhere."
Pete and Ashlee are parents to Bronx Mowgli, born in November of 2008.
